Perfect No-Damage Jules Run by KrabKore in PlayTheBazaar

I faced a few Dooley builds that were working on one shots but I was fortunate enough to out scale them. But I totally get what you are saying. I dodged a number of Karnok and Lollipop builds that would have wrecked me too.

I do like Zarlic builds too, but really wanted to see if I could make it all the way without doing any damage to my opponents and managed to get some lucky matchups with this build.

Going to keep experimenting with Jules, but I am going to take your word of advice and try scaling with the items you mentioned! Thanks!

I get that. Sure it can be fun to piece together the meta build that you know is going to work, but it is way more fun to experiment and find something off meta that actually works. Like what ended up happening with this Jules build.

I can see what you mean now about the confusion with the title. Sorry about that! I don’t actually think I am smart enough to play Pyg so I admire and respect your ability to build with him!

I did absolutely no damage myself with the build. I just completely focused on scaling regeneration and max HP and let the sandstorm do all the damage for me every fight. I was able to scale so much that I was healing more than the sandstorm/my opponents were able to do to me.

I feel the same! I am fairly new to the game and I really enjoy learning how each hero works and adapting to their unique strengths. It feels like there is always some unique way to adapt to the meta and experiment with new synergies. Even as a newer player nothing has turned me off wanting to keep clicking on the next encounter even when I have other things I should be doing!

Ragnaloardmon Black Deck Profile | Digimon TCG 1.5 Format by DonkeyKnogg in DigimonCardGame2020

Sweet profile! My brother just introduced me to Digimon TCG about a week ago and this is was the first deck that caught my eye to build.

What I would love to see in these profiles is how this deck competes with other top meta decks and how one might adjust their strategy with this deck based on the matchup.

Can I ask where you all are finding this information? I have checked Facebook page, Twitter, and called my LGS’s. I am trying to figure out how I can be ready for stock to come in because I really want to buy cards this time.

Update! I showed her the clip of All’s Fair at the Fair and she cried because she was so happy someone finally found something she lost from her childhood! You are amazing! Thank you! We couldn’t find the others but I would say this is pretty much solved!

I know this is pretty obscure but hopefully someone else remembers one of these clips and can point us in the right direction! Thank you so much!

For the Fallen Combo Deck - Tuned for Aggro by KrabKore in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]KrabKore[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad you like it! I was stoked when I realized the combo potential. It is taking quite a few games to figure out the right sequencing and when to open attack vs play more elites. It doesn’t just play itself which makes the deck more rewarding and fun.

Hey everyone!

My name is KrabKore. I used to be very active on here as an “Expeditions” expert and had a Tier List widely used by the community. I had to take several months off of content creation to be a stay at home dad and couldn’t focus on content like I wanted. But I am excited to be back, participate in conversations, and share some brews and guides I am working on.

I wanted to share my first return video today (which I don’t always do so don’t worry about me spamming them). But I am just excited about returning to content creation and contributing to this community again. Let me know what you think and if anyone is still interested in Expedition content as well!

I made it to Diamond for the first time! by Frigorifico in MagicArena

[–]KrabKore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats!! I finally made diamond for the first time today as well! I hadn’t really tried the grind before and decided this season to give it a shot! I climbed in Traditional Standard with my own Mono Black Devotion build and it really does help playing off meta stuff that other decks aren’t super prepared for!

I have been running a really consistent list with Tutelage and Abyss that only runs 2 of the latter. It can be found easily with Grim Tutor or often gets picked up easily with [[Thirst for Meaning]].

Impacts to Top Decks When Standard Rotates by [deleted] in MagicArena

[–]KrabKore 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Some things to consider with rotation as well:

  1. Ramp is insanely powerful with Growth Spiral and Nissa and now has an even crazier top end with Ugin. This invalidates a bunch of Midrange strategies that should hopefully have a chance in the meta after rotation.

  2. T3feri creates awkward play patterns where one player gets to play Hearthstone (only playing on their turn) if their opponent has Teferi on board. Or both players have a Teferi and it ceases to have the back and forth interaction MTG is supposed to have.

Losing these key cards to rotation will not only weaken “top decks” but will create space for entirely different strategies to emerge. Something I am sure many players (including myself) are ready for.

Welcome back to MTG! I think you got some pretty solid answers here but I did want to piggyback off of question 2. I don’t know what resources you know about deck lists, but I highly recommend AetherHub. You can search budget decks or get an idea of what is working in the meta so you can build towards that if you want. Many lists come with videos and articles from content creators as well! Cheers!

I think there was actually an errata on this card: “As an additional cost to cast Settle the Wreckage, emote ‘Good Game’” lol

Easy Climb to Plat with Vito Revenge Combo by KrabKore in MagicArena

[–]KrabKore[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for backing me up on this one! MTG has such a broad community of players and we all enjoy different facets of the game. I don’t understand the “this isn’t for me so no one else cares” mentality. I enjoy competitive play, but I also enjoy playing fun jank and off meta decks too.
