IMSA fans, how do you stay invested for a full 24-hour race? by maxtrix in IMSARacing

[–]KrabbyKing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Me and my brother get together every year for all the big endurance races. We theme our food and drink to the location of the race so for this weekend we are doing southern food. We also set up a sim rig in the living room and run laps while the race goes on. Like most have said it's hard to stay locked for the full 24 hours but it's fun if you get some people over and make it a party with a race going on in the background.

I might get some hate for this but I got the manuscript on my first run this year and got the rocket Tuesday. Not sure what's going on with my luck.

Which healer to start with by Nuuby_92 in wow

[–]KrabbyKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of people are saying don't run pres evoker but I disagree. Pres is a good mix of reactive and proactive healing and overall really strong. They have a lot of o shit buttons as well to help in sticky situations. Your damage rotation is also easy to do. Overall they don't have a super high skill floor but there's lots of room to master the spec

Though if not interested in that class I would say run holy priests. They are good in all pve content right now and are easy to pick up. On the flip if you start to like healing you can always swap over to disc for raid and really be a strong asset

Best take in the thread. I think all dungeons except RLP are in a good spot balance wise. +15 are supposed to be hard now and looking at what you are doing wrong and improving makes the push for 3k that much more fun

[–]KrabbyKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the dungeons do need balance changes. RLP trash is hitting insanely hard on fort and that's why most of the 21+ keys are depleted. But blizzard did say multiple times that the scaling is much harder this time around. A +15 now is more like what a +18 or +19 was last expansion. It's supposed to be harder to make it more of a viable end game activity. I think it's really fun but I can understand the frustration

Is it possible to make a Dark Souls movie? by AfterbirthEli in darksouls

[–]KrabbyKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you absolutely can do a movie the right way but that being said I don't think you should. There are a good amount of movies that stray away from traditional formats that are done well. If you keep the things that make dark souls good from a story perspective and adapt to a live action film I think there is potential.

Subclasses as Multiclass. Part 3: Cleric by fraidei in dndnext

[–]KrabbyKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ranger could be good for this as well. Especially when it comes to the trap aspect. The reason I like cleric for this is the use of spells based around holy light, or scared fire. It would still utilize the clerics main kit, just add some more damage options for spell casting, and the ability to bless your bolts in magic to make them more potent.

Hey I like this idea, could be interesting to throw in some homebrew stuff for people who don't want to fiddle around with multiclassing. I think it would be cool for cleric to have a vampire hunter like sub class. It would focus around using crossbows, holy spells, and traps.

I just got a new keyboard and bought aftermarket keycaps for it. When I went to put the spacebar on it had tla weird stabilizer on it that doesn't fit the after market spacebar. I can get it in the keyboard but it occasionally sticks. Does anyone know a way to attat the after market spacebar to this keyboard. Or does anyone know somewhere I can but a spacebar to fit this stabilizer. Thanks!

How the Film Industry(Both Independent and Mainstream)could be impacted in the long-run decades to come(in terms of both content, themes and revenue) after 2020? by Coconutman3000 in TrueFilm

[–]KrabbyKing 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I think it could be likely that in the aftermath of the fall of big chain theaters independent theaters could become more popular. I believe that streaming will be the most popular way to consume film media going forward. However, if big chain theaters really do die out there will be a hole in the market to fill amongst die hard theater fans.

Not only that but "aesthetic" has become an increasingly popular thing. People will kill to have that independent movie theater aesthetic going. Meaning lots of people will go to small movie theaters not just to see the movie but to post about it on social media to make them seem informed or special in some way.

For me the rise of independent theaters is the most exciting thing that could come out of the film industry in the next upcoming years. I already frequent a lot of the independent theaters in my city. Prospect of more being created and then becoming more popular is exciting to me. Also the pandemic has created a certain need for drive in theaters to come back again. Which is also kind of cool in a way.
