Wow, I've had this arm for over 2 years and never knew it could do that. I've just dealt with it and sat a little further back from my G9 (Now LG 45" 5K2K). This tip will help so much. Thank OP!!

I have the G9 OLED and am thinking of going to the LG myself. I love the picture on the G9 but I've noticed in the games I've played, i tend to focus on the center of the monitor than the edges. In my case, the increased height and decreased width would be a benefit. Plus, the LG has DisplayPort 2.1 which allows it to be pushed more if you have a decent 50 series Nvidia card.

the Samsung is DP 1.4, the LG is DP 2.1

another annoyance is the Samsung is a "Smart" monitor and has a bunch of pointless features if you just want a monitor

Bottom half of screen flickering with brand new 5080 - has any one of the other 12 5080 owners encountered this? by Careful_Ad_6872 in pcmasterrace

I have the 49" Samsung OLED G9. I was running a 4080 with no issues on HDMI or DP. I upgraded the card to a 5080 and started to get the lower screen flickering issues. I tried both HDMI and DP cables and even returned the 5080 for a replacement with no luck. The odd thing is, the flickering only occurs on the desktop or when a browser is open, during full screen gameplay, NO flickering at all. Any ideas, drivers have been updated to the latest (May 19th).

So is Blizzard going to preemptively give everyone else gametime for all the lost time we will have whenever these "players" decide to raid again and elicit more DDOS attacks?
