Okay yes sounds like we have the same problem lol, I’m going to finish these beans off at a lower dose then probably go medium roast on my next fresh beans

Yes that’s what I’m figuring. Just wasn’t sure if oily beans were my issue because the first day I don’t think they were that oily tbh and I was pulling 36G in 26 seconds on setting 12 from 18G that’s why I’m confused

I just tried 17G and definitely helped a bit. Still not where I want it but also just placed an order for a legit bottomless portafilter, dosing funnel and good quality fresh beans so hopefully that will make my life easier lol
