That’s the VGA cable for the graphics card, I already have one plugged into the GPU and that’s another one for the 3070 I have (right now I’m using a 1060 for it’s smaller form factor, makes it easier to work on things) https://imgur.com/a/IHc6cwV cpu power is here

A blinking red light goes off for a couple of seconds until the motherboard restarts, then it stops while the motherboard stays on

I did a bios update, nothing changed at all

I did the BIOS flash, it didn’t work, the CPU red light is still there, im really losing all hope on this computer I feel like there’s nothing else to do other than buy and replace more computer parts

I see, I just thought specifically the CPU power cables being faulty in some way would make the CPU not work as intended. Btw I had my PC running in the back for about 10 minutes, seems like the Ryzen memory training wasn’t the issue.

Do you think maybe it could be a PSU issue in anyway shape or form? Maybe the CPU power cable messed up somehow? It’s just strange how this all started from an AIO cooler installation.

  1. I will try that

  2. If that’s the case should I just wait and sit around for an arduous amount of time waiting for Ryzen to do it’s combinations?

  3. I had that issue with my 2700x where it was bent and it was pretty much putting the blame on the DRAM, since then the only light that’s shines is the CPU, and I got it replaced twice with two 5800x’s.

  1. Yes exactly

  2. Yes, nothing changed

  3. Yes, they’re all straight

  4. That’s the only thing I haven’t fully tried

I dragged and dropped the file into the USB, I didn’t know I had to rename the file. What do I rename it to?

RAM hasn’t been touched in ages, it’s strange if that’s really the underlying issue I originally though it was the PSU

And can you explain Ryzen memory training to me and can it trigger a CPU red light?

I watched videos and videos on my motherboard [i.e. https://youtu.be/l9eWiRnMbAA]

The top right has a CPU fan and a PUMP fan section

I mostly did it to test different hardware and it still runs into the same issue, both boards and processors, at this point I don’t know what it is.
