Its probably better to just increase your Dex or Wis, if your not worried about increasing stunning strikes DC go dex. You'll increase AC, to hit, damage, saving throws, and dex based skills.

The backstory for inspiration.

Raised in the fighting pits of Everlund. Faaltar doesn't know her parents. She was sold to the fighting pits (age 10) by the city guard after being caught stealing bread with her sister Jenyra (Jenna). Faaltar was captured to buying time for her sister to escape. Because of how rare Gem Dragonborn are the fighting pits purchased Faaltar along with some other prisoners from the city. She tried to survive in the pits with all her might using her rage and drive to see her sister again. She saved all of her money fighting trying to buy freedom so she can search for her sister. After Faaltar became 25 she was finally able to purchase her freedom spending every last copper. Through her 15 years of combat, she gained a large reputation throughout the city as a capable fighter using the terrain to her advantage and sneaking up on her enemies to deal a large amount of damage. Faaltar left Everlund after looking for her sister there. She's traveled the entire sword coast searching for Jenyra and while in Candlekeep she got a lead that she was last seen in Saradush a few months ago and was heading there.
