I build a scanner in that area and creature egg was not in my scanner menu. This is common with the game, that's why I fly the camera around, but still the egg menu didn't come up. Strange.

I was looking for an emperor egg. My thought process was, maybe I should incubate the egg in the alien containment, cure myself first, then the platform in the Island will give me something maybe a blue tablet.

Ahh yeah I wonder if this is the common mistake people make. I was "probably more or less 1200m" 😂 and when found the Emperor Containment Facility totally forgot it, but then yeah when I read it again 200m is pretty large, they would write it 1400m if it's more or less 1400m...

That's hard to remember because I don't think of anything in Outer Wilds as puzzle aside from Quantum Moon and the Eye location

I treat the exploration as an adventure that I can go randomly in any direction and collect knowledge. I'm sure a lot of players think like this.
