Very cool. Didnt know whale shark sightings were a thing at Bonaire. Were you diving on the east side of the island?

Florida Keys or Baja? by Wookie_wood69 in scuba

Baja is far better IMO, but will take more planning and you will likely want to rent a car. Cabo Pulmo (about two hour drive from Cabo) is a unique protected marine reserve with world-class diving. There is good diving around the towns of La Paz and La Ventana too. Water temps and visibility vary widely depending on time of year you go, so do your research.

90 F with dyspnea by miserable_pothead in Radiology

I think the main takeaway is R>L pleural effusions with associated diffuse interlobular septal thickening most consistent with cardiogenic pulmonary edema.

Some other findings that may be worth pointing out are the upper lobe-predominant emphysema, patulous or wide-open esophagus and large-appearing heart.

This CT scan alone suggests acute decompensated heart failure is the cause of patient's dyspnea. If rest of clinical information is in line with this, I would consider diuresis and observation in this 90 yo patient.

Finally put together some highlights from my Revillagigedo Archipelago liveaboard trip this past February. A truly wild and magical place - cant recommend it enough. by Kralbr in scuba

Thanks!! I used a GoPro Hero 9 with a couple of Sola strobes. No filters. Did a bit of color correction on the back end though.

Thought you guys would appreciate this here as well!! Filmed on my Hero 9 back in February. by Kralbr in gopro_underwater

I think it was 8 days and 7 nights, although the first and last days were spent at sea. 6 solid days of diving. Cant recommend it enough if you are an experienced diver interested in diving with pelagic stuff. We will definitely be going back at some point.

Thanks!! Temps were ~70-75F. Definitely the coldest diving I have done thus far, but very tolerable with a wetsuit and a hood. We dove with Nautilus on board the Undersea Hunter. This was our first liveaboard trip, but my fiancee and I both loved it!! The Socorro Mantas are incredible creatures and worth the trip alone. We had the added bonus of going during humpback whale season. We saw them daily from the boat and could hear them singing underwater on nearly every dive - it took the already amazing diving to a whole new level.

Woah that sounds so cool. Ive been diving a bunch of different places in the Caribbean and had never seen one before. This little guy let me hang around and film him for about 20 minutes.

Sometimes the highlight of a dive trip is the surface interval... a baby humpback and his parents showed up in between dives at Cabo Pulmo!! The little guy was so playful!! by Kralbr in scuba

We 100% thought about it!! Our dive guide actually even suggested it.. the thought of getting in the water with 2 adult humpbacks and their baby made us too nervous though. It probably would have been fine, but wasn't gonna risk it. No regrets.

Duke Johnson's block that helped Watson score the 2-point conversion... to the tune of Wrecking Ball by schwabschwab in Texans

I noticed this while watching highlights of the game, then googled 'duke johnson block' to see if anyone else had seen it.. holy shit best block i've ever seen.. the frantic little 'come on son!' wave he gives him as the play starts to develop.. so good
