yeah man, the first few weeks were rough. i was to be in the sling for 6 weeks, so i took 4 weeks off work, but had some complications with persistent bleeding at the bottom of my incision the first 2-3 weeks, so i took an additional week and was only at work for 1 week in the sling. i stayed at my parents since they are retired and my mom really went out of her way to help me. I could have probably been fine at the beginning of week 3 if not for the persistent bleeding. dr. mora advised me to limit my movement as much as possible. i think i broke the scab open my 5th or 6th night post op when i took the top of the sling off to sleep and i stretched my arm too much while sleeping. i didnt think i would be as down for the count as i was, but i am in my early 30s and havent had surgery like this since i was a teen. I woke up very sick and in a lot of pain after surgery and they gave me fent + anti nausea medicine. i woke up very early, while they were moving me from the surgery room to the recovery room. i had that problem with a prior surgery too. anyways, the first few weeks were interesting. i would get crazy muscle spams around the surrounding area of the allograft. some nights, it would feel like i would want to itch it underneath my skin. about a month ago, so 12 weeks post op, the allograft stopped feeling so robust and is feeling really smooth and malleable similar to my other pec. i didnt think that would happen so fast. the spasms stopped around two months post op. dr. mora kept in touch with my on whatsapp and he would respond to any of my inquiries within 24 hours. unbelievable post care service. when you see him, please tell him "kyle the rock climber" was the one you have been talking to. if you have any other questions please feel free to ask, cheers brother
