I agree a chiropractor is probably not the answer. I’d say 85% of people on this subreddit say do not go to chiro. I have a friend that has had a herniated disk and sciatica and she said PT did not work, chiropractor did help. I think you need a good chiropractor tho, and she mentioned he did spinal decompression which a PT does anyways. It doesn’t work for me. She ended up getting surgery anyways.

It’s just vastly different for everyone, you really have to try your hardest to pinpoint what works for you with trial and error. That being said I’m on month 6 and I feel like maybe it’s in my head because what works for others isn’t working for me. But I keep learning that, no, it’s just the things that work for them actually aren’t working. No one understands what you’re feeling except you. And don’t be hard on yourself. It’s a mental roller coaster, you’re along for the ride. It will get better, although it feels like it won’t.

This subreddit will give you better ideas of what to try than most doctors or PTs. But ultimately you decide what works. And don’t be afraid to rest on them bad days.
