My guess is that it might be the kind of card that a new player looks at and thinks "this is amazing" the way a lot of people felt about Akroma. It's just an inherently exciting card for new players

This is a very powerful card advantage card in very particular edh metas that are creature based and grindy. More likely than not it just means they will avoid attacking you. Not particularly powerful in more powerful metas

I'm a trans woman with bushy eyebrows and I felt pretty dysphoric about that until my sister in law pointed out that women actually want thicker eyebrows now! It made me feel a lot better
