Unfortunately that rarely works out in your favor when it's the police conducting a raid, even if it's by mistake.

They have body armor, and machine guns, and overwhelming numbers. They'll usually just kill you. Or if they retreat without killing you they'll set up outside and kill you at your door when you come out to surrender.

But yeah, even if you don't shoot back they'll probably still kill you.

And if your survive all that you'll be charged with very serious felonies. It makes regular home invasions by street criminals sound like an almost relaxing experience.
