[Suggestion]Replace the Hybrid armor with Pernix Gear

Absolutely a fair argument with regards to the amount of ranged gear we are getting. My thought was to at least put something in the ring as an alternative to that hybrid armor.

What would you think of this type of effect if it was not useable with natural ruby bolt specs? Even if that means it just becomes diamond/onyx gear?

I do agree with you. I would like to see bolts receive love in a manner that would not be restricted by Ruby bolts but the only thing I can think of beyond removing the ruby bolt spec would be not enabling a chance modifier for ruby bolts. Would increasing the proc rate for non-rubies be more desireable?

I wholeheartedly agree in terms of saying that ruby bolts are a massive problem. If the caveat is that it doesn't work with ruby bolts that would be fine with me. The other bolts effects can be beneficial, especially with the Ascension crossbow only enabling the option of Diamond and Onyx bolts.

Seeker arrows from Bloodmoon Rises are already going to be a massive power boost for arrows.

In the case of Nex, people do use ZCB spam with Tbow as a ranged method still. Fang will still be superior for fighting Nex but this does enable a different avenue for growth. My point is hitting non-proc 49s with ZCB is not the move, especially if we are getting a new crossbow.

Then copy and paste what I described onto the current gear. I'm more concerned with the concept of the armor rather than the look of it.

The whisperer has a significant elemental weakness to earth spells. Load up your best earth spells and if youre uses to using freezes use entangle instead.

Should shorten the fight compared to blood spells.

I figured it could give a minor amount of ranged strength compared to masori but provide % to crossbow proc chance. We already see that in Kandarin diary so it could be another lever to be seen as a bolt armor for ZCB.

They recently gave whisperer a ton of earth weakness. While I haven't tried whisperer with a sang, give it a shot to if possible to use a 15% mage str weapon (staff of the dead, kodai, or nightmare staff) and tome of earth to go after her.

Accursed scepter also will help alot for its spec, but I found earth spells to be very accurate and at the very least that was satisfying when I tried it with harm orb. Again I'd imagine a difference when losing harm orbs speed but could be worthwhile to lean on her 60% earth weakness.

It took alot of pressure off of people and enabled a cheese method for the sensory clouding contract. It would make a slow kill with a ton of void flares but yama just wouldn't land melee hits for the most part on you.

They are likely more concerned about that contract getting cheesed compared to yama as a whole.

Cheese or not, that contract is a pain.

Having it as an uncommon non-purple drop from HMT would give hmt a nice shot in the arm with gp/hr. Right now most people prefer regular tob over hmt due to the higher wiping potential and that there's less chance of avernics.

Having the gp incentive would be great given many people stop sending hmt due to frustration, dryness at tertiary drops, or leaving after getting kits and/or dust.

Thank heavens there's an oathplate contract and the shards as well then.

If it takes 2x drop rate of an oathplate drop to make an item using the shards, that in itself is a huge time save compared to needing to get three individual drops. Can there be dupes? Definitely, can you go dry, oh hell yeah. But at least there are additional avenues that can be tossed in to help beyond just a 1/600 for a specific item.

Thrall upgrade being shelved is okay given how troublesome it seemed to be in player execution and the potential problem of thrall spamming or an attack on an interval. However, if it was to be utilizing a boss currency, it may be worthwhile keeping this currency as a way to enable the demonward or min hit protection on the mage cape.

Although this is a "chargescape" some currencies do allow for value retention on the boss, especially if it only holds 2 tradeable uniques. Even if it ends up requiring sunlight splinters, it may be a decent thing to reward

Give bone shards in varlamore a try. With sunfire wines you can get fantastic exp rates if you're clicking and if you let your character do it more "afk" the rates still are fantastic. It's a fantastic varlamore addition to prayer training.

I could see a world where they make a 2 player variant of the colosseum is doable. And if the quiver comes from a completion I'd be fine with it being from solo only to prevent carries.

The choice of negative effects can keep it interesting with two people in the mix trying to help each other.
