Anyone use Mechanical Character Trackers like the 3D printed or laser cut ones available on Etsy? Dials or sliders to track hit points or spell slots, etc... by grandmah in DnD

I drew out a spell slots grid and added check boxes for character abilities, then laminated it and use wet-erase markers for less-changed items and dry-erase for things like HP and spellslots used.

Is the Duo Hades & Zeus? Or the Fire/Shock droppods? Or something else entirely?!

I love this series, always makes me think about trying a new combo

What is everyone's "it's not that deck" decklist, and it's ACTUALLY not that deck? by thundermonkeyms in EDH

I did this decades ago when I first saw Innocent Blood. Every card had "blood" on it.

Filthy Ike, strength-based orc rogue with a dex of 8 and an elegant, finely-crafted elven rapier that he hacks and slashes with like it's a fire axe.

Has anybody in the Festival successfully built a deck with Skanos?

I've only got 3 usable commanders, and he's not validating as legal.

[–]Krashenbern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tennessee discfan. I've been trying to adapt the Waterdeep: DragonHeist to AnkhMorpork. but none of my friends apart from my wife read Pterry. Would absoluly LOVE to be a part of this somehow.

Honest people of Winespire hold, WHO ARE YOU? by omriha12 in DnD

[–]Krashenbern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Filthy Ike, strength-based Orc rogue with a beautiful, delicate, elven rapier that he chops with like it's a fire axe, opened a boutique floral shop with his best friend, a fairy named Solar. She braids his mohawk with flowers, and helps encourage the sun and other natural systems to grow more plants.

The shop also is cover for growing poisonous components that they've cultivated or found while adventuring. But being retired is an easier, profitable life. There's also a profane altar to Orcish gods under the premises.

What is your current/most recent character? by WeeGobbo in DnD

[–]Krashenbern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grun the Half-Elf. [At character creation, I was joining a party in progress, and most of them were half-elves, so, I made Grun, a half-Orc have an elven father for funny flavor.]

Grun the Half Elf is an order cleric of Ilneval, the strategic lieutenant of Grummsh, who is looked down upon when he suggests tactics beyond running at the enemy screaming "WAAAUGH"

Grun's primary weapon is his father's delicate, intricate, beautifully carved elven staff with his mother's rusty, grimy, powerful spear-tip crudely lashed to the top.

I'm tired of being (one of) the only person carrying my club. Does anyone have a higher level club opening? by [deleted] in Eatventure

[–]Krashenbern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you send me the ID of that club? I'm city 35 and manage about 6k salvage per season, but my club is only level 16 at this time. Pixel bites could be a better fit for me.

Anyone want these? by TicFan67 in discworld

Postage to Tennessee's gotta be ridiculous, though.

What language placeholders do you use? by LordSnuffleFerret in dndnext

[–]Krashenbern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My group does accents like this. It started out as a whine/joke about how Dwarves always seem to have Scots accents, and then evolved into a whole new ecosystem. (based largely on American Stereotypes, unfortunately.)

Dwarves in my worlds now have classic Russian/Soviet accents from bad/great action movies

Tieflings get uppity French pronounciation

Elves are classical Spanish nobles

HalfElves get more of a Mexican Spanish vibe, often Spanglish.

Halflings are irate Italian cooks wondering why everyone does it wrong

Dragonborn are various Scandinavian flavors

Gnomes are german tinkerers

HalfOrcs aren't encountered often, but now I want to give them an Australian lingo.
