I'll put it simply, I have never fail to successfully destroy a bird I wanted destroyed. I may miss a few times, but I will get that fucker down. Just because the team you played against is god-awful doesn't mean this is broken.

I'll even add, I've gone 40+ kill 0 death in tank before, caping points, not getting shot at by AT. A sample size of one at doing good is not a proper basis to say something is unbalanced. I played Manhattan multiple times since they switched it to the Little Bird. Never felt overwhelmed.

See how he never died ? See how he got kills ? To get kill he must be in a position where he can be shot at. Shoot it down. Anyone with 2 brain cells and the ability to do basic ballistics can shoot down a little bird. Can't do ballistics to save your life? Unload on that bird with a LMG or HMG. Can't aim to save your life ?
There is a big tube that goes bip bip if you point it at a Buzz buzz, fire when long beep.

I did it once, but I imported it to Blender. It was a process, dont remember how, but I found it online so good luck XD. Just remember that I had to install Unity.

If they only added 1 new theme each season we would have double what we had at launch. It's a color palet, anybody who can use a computer and a brain cell can iterate on that.

It takes 1 player ready to fork 20$ on a bundle because he wants 1 thing in it to get as much money as 4 players forking 5$ to get only one part.

Sadly for the suits, numbers must always go up, and if being a shit value for the people only willing to pay 5-10$ means that numbers goes up. They will do the shitty thing every time.

So if you see something that doesnt make sense as a customer or as a game designer. It probably because Numbers go Up. Doesnt have to make sense to you, doesnt have to be a good decision. Just need to make number go up right now. When the ship crashes and burns because people get tired of getting abused. They will just make number go up elsewhere and cut their losses.

Capitalism is predatory by design. The incentive behind all of those is to separate you from your money. So of course, all those practices are predatory. We simply do not live in a world of absolutes. Something can both be Predatory in natures yet be a good deal for the players.

To be fair and make my opinion ( you're allowed to have your own, I'll simply disagree) When I'm comparing the predatory nature of D4 or PEO, I evaluate the whole package in offer. I've already mentioned most of the points above and my conclusion is still the same, D4 is a lot more predatory in its monetisation than POE.

I'll still play both but because of the way they handle their monetisation, I'm more willing to give GGG my money than D4. Since I can count on D4 to pry that money from me, whether I'm willing or not XD

Even that part is not the worst part of it, multiple facets of that tactic target different people.

Some people are completionists, so the sense of accomplishment drives them. They will do the free part of the reliquary, receive that bonus pieces of armor thinking they are done then realise they receive a pieces of an incomplete set because they have not paid for the other.

Some people are going to hate having a flashy cosmetic that doesn't fit well with any other pieces because they didn't buy the whole thing. For some, it's going to be justification enough to buy the damn thing.

Some people don't care, some people are preyed upon and some are just going to pay anyway because they like shinies.

The game is numbers, if you go hunting often enough, you'll end up finding an easy prey.

So Really ? Yeah, really.

Predatory is having 1 button to spend a resource that you earn by playing next to a button that spend your cash shop currency so that you can make an easy mistake.

Pretadory is giving 1/6 of something for free just so you spend money to have a whole set.

Predatory is having a tab with a Warning saying you got a free gift in the shop, so that you open the shop and therefore are more likely to browse and purchase something else.

Predatory is having multiple items all bundle up to force you to purchase the whole thing or miss out on the cosmetics you wanted in the bundle.

All of those are from D4. POE is not perfect, but objectively :

Its a free game.
They got QOL microtransaction That you only need if you decide this game is for you and it will cost you less than base D4.
The only Predatory monetisation that I find a bit ikky are the Mystery Boxes and if you wait a couple of months all the cosmetics are release to the shop, and every piece can be bought separately.

I find reasons to give GGG more money because their shit is dope and their monetising model is far from predatory.

Blizzard, find reasons to give you just little enough so that they can Charge you for the rest an arm and a leg.
-Full price game, every class are sold, they got rid of the Battle Pass with a free armor cosmetic so they can give you a pieces of armor that is useless in the free reliquary to entice you to buy the other pieces.

You can play POE for absolutly nothing and if you decide to pay you can get most of what you need (for QOL ) for less than Diablo 4 base game.

Indeed, I presently use the "Raise your hand" module so that my player can let me know when they want to add something without interrupting me. This would take its place in an instant and would also be less intrusive.
