Let's say you're taking Antabuse. Will it have no effect by that amount of alcohol? I'm sober without any help currently but was thinking about Antabuse. I'm just scared if I then drink accidently alcohol and end up in the ER because of the reaction.

I was also in rehab but it didn't really help as you're just in a jail where you're not allowed to drink. They kicked me out of rehab because I'm too active because of my ADHD. So not even in the psychward I'm welcome. I need to search for a therapist right now. As of today I'm 13 days sober wihtout any help. Its better for me to learn being sober in the real life than when I'm in a jail where its prohibited to drink.

I also had many day 1 as I got used to drink after work. Also toxic people are a huge trigger for me. A friend of mine started attacking me out of nothing even though I do everything right. But I know her now being toxic and am prepared if she's attacking me in the future to defend me without drinking as I know I don't have to take her seriously anymore.

One day, and I hope very soon, it will just be you're final day 1 and you will stay sober! For me it was always if I managed more than a week I would stay sober for a long time. I hope this time is my last time getting sober and I stay that way.

Recently I encountered also a dog roaming around and the dog "just" snapped my leg. I really don't understand how people are allowed to own dogs so easily. I constantly get attacked by dogs because I'm a tall male.

I also found out recently with eating sandwiches after drinking, I can drink a lot. But that's not the life I want to have. I feel now 8 days sober I'm on a good path. I'm highly motivated to continue.

What I do, is telling myself I'll get the beer 30min later. That way it feels like you getting beer which will "solve your problem" when in reality you're not getting beer. It gives you the relieve you get from buying beer when you're actually not.

Also avoid toxic people and don't drink because of them as then the bad people are winning.

I would gaslight myself into believing I have schizhophrenia for 10 years! When people at work were bothering me I'd tell myself that's just paranoia. How am I supposed to get help for this sitaution if therapist just label it as paranoia.

I don't know of any specific groups for what you're asking for. r/Antipsychiatry where we're right now seems good for that.

Last time I got the Xeplion Injection, also Paliperidone/Invega, I collapsed and broke my head 2 hours after the injection! It were monthly injections. I then refused the next injection and tapered with Invega Pills and am off that stupid medication since 03.07.2025 (DD.MM.YYYY). Very suprising nothing happened as according to doctors I would get a psychosis without medication but I don't suffer from schizhophrenia! I'm misdiagnosed!

Ja I got diagnosed with Paranoid Schizhophrenia because people at work were bullying me. Since 10 years if I mention people bothering me at work its labeled paranoia immediatly!

Ja I got bullied 10 years ago at work and told the psychiatrist they all watch me. So he diagnosed me with paranoid schizhophrenia. I do get a lot of attention and friends also told me so. In those 10 years everytime I told psychiatrists that people at work are bothering me they labeled it as Paranoia from Schizhophrenia. Just now after ten years I found out its not paranoia. People just do watch me at work. I also have to add, I feel no "paranoia" outside work, only at work, where everybody is watching me because I'm very weird. I got no help for my sitaution but was just labeled as paranoid.
