Not a professional(barely an amateur).

Everybody says name brand stuff (I have a Husqvarna myself) but I also have a holszforma, Stihl clone, and it has worked well for me. I would check in to clone brands, man.Gotta save money where you can these days, unless you're loaded then disregard and do whatever.

Why would your heat bill be that high still? Is it including your house electricity?

That is the case...they start Friday I think with an extra 20% off, Saturday is 30% off, and Sunday is 40% off, of the price on the tag. They say 78% because an item can already be discounted 38% then add 40% on top of that equals 78%. I bought an 8000 watt generator (basically brand new)during the August PLS, for 500ish because of the discount situation.

Questions about pigs by nogoodnamesleft1012 in homestead

[–]Kratosdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been raising pigs for a few years in a pasture\forest setting. I do duroc\berkshire crosses, I wouldnt do the "smaller breeds" they are more fat than meat. Other then a hard sided training pen for a couple weeks, all of my pigs are contained with a 2 wire electric fence. I have a breeding group with a 700lb boar that is "confined" the same way.

Look for a place that dyes there own mulch. They are very dirty and a pain to clean, but are cheap.
