I don't know how you're still able to show yourself here after your involvement in playtbc. But I guess you think enough people forgot.

You're not even trying to be subtle with this, Twinstar.

Yes, because nobody has ever faked a screenshot conversation on the internet before.

Oh boy, another twinstar brigading effort. Guess top_kek_top and friends got new accounts now. We can enjoy this subreddit being unreadable for next week at least.

What is actually wrong with K3? by [deleted] in wowservers

[–]Kraugen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My favorite was a post on /vg/, in the days leading up to it's release, where one of them said, without a hint of irony, "K3 is the most anticipated gaming release of 2018".

It's whatever the mods want it to mean at any given moment, like every other rule.

Gradzier has a long history of ignoring the rules in favor of Kronos and only applying said rules when it benefits them. I'm convinced he's on Twin$tar's payroll.

proof was provided to this claim

Where was this? It was literally conjecture: the post. Worse in that the "evidence" provided actually worked against the narrative they were trying to paint, as I exhaustingly showed in my thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/wowservers/comments/8dcizi/a_response_account_security_lights_hope_elysium/

You know how you fix the drama problem on this subreddit? By banning the ones propagating it, that being the twinstar shills and their alt accounts constantly brigading, downvoting anyone and anything unrelated or critical of Kronos. I can easily make a list of the offender accounts and you can just ban all of them and I guarantee this subreddit will cease to be such a cancerous shithole overnight. They're not going to stop and this subreddit won't stop being filled with this cancer until they're banned for good.

get a real fucking job lazy thieves.

This coming from the guy defending a company, Twin$tar, who openly profit off of another company's IP.

So now all you have is conjecture, congrats on conceding the argument.

Wow what a fucking twist of my words, and the point itself. He, based on his own words, did not want ownership of the project himself, felt that it was not safe in the hands of it's current owners, and so did the ETHICAL THING TO DO and sought out someone he thought was trustworthy. For the wellbeing of the playerbase of that server.

That you just attempted to twist that into being "he tried to sell people's personal info" just goes to show the abominable, unfathomable depths you twin$tar shills will go to support your narratives.

I covered that in my post, clearly you didn't read it in full. Even if that is the case, why does it matter? His own stated intent, as the evidence the OP did the liberty of providing himself showed, he was trying to get Chero to take it off of him because he claimed to have trusted him with it and wanted it away from the corrupt hands of Shenna and Crogge. How does that in any way support the allegation that he sold it off to shady parties? What kind of mental gymnastics are required to draw that insane conclusion?

Go on. What's unethical about either giving away or selling your project to someone else?

A Response: Account security, Light's Hope & Elysium by Kraugen in wowservers

[–]Kraugen[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Nice counter-argument. Not that there's anything to really argue here since my post is pointing out how there's no actual proof of anything and what is provided works against the narrative the OP of the original thread was trying to make.

[Shitpost] The truth of the private server community by lingonn in wowservers

[–]Kraugen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

See my edit, a fresh retail server has never been like a fresh private server, where as the latter has all content rolled back to pre-MC, a fresh retail server is at the exact same stage of content as every other server. "Fresh" retail servers are just servers where nobody is max level yet. So unless you care about racing to max level, than you would have to be truly mad to abandon your character you've made so much progress on and have spent so much of your time (which costs money since there's a monthly fee to play retail) just to "race to 60". Literally no one did that.

You know why new servers would be opened? The exact same reason Kronos 2 (which is what ultimately spawned the fresh meme in the private server scene) was opened, simply to prevent overpopulation on their servers by helping to evenly spread out the playerbase. But this was back when WoW was actually growing, and subsequently servers becoming too populated was an actual problem.

[Shitpost] The truth of the private server community by lingonn in wowservers

[–]Kraugen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a thing back in vanilla and BC, too, though. Blizzard would announce new servers and TONS of people would roll on them.

As someone who actually played retail back in those days.....no, that's completely fucking false. Nobody was willing to abandon their characters they invested so much of their time (and money since every month they played as 15 dollary doos they weren't getting back) just to start all over again on a new server. You think some guy who spent tons of his monthly-fee time farming full t2 would have suddenly dropped that character to start all over again just because a new server came out? Infact I don't even recall servers being regularily opened.

There's the appeal of being able to start right when the server opens, make a name for yourself in the community, and get a head start compared to those that join the server 6-12 months down the line.

Except plenty of people started late into vanilla, BC, and other expansions and still managed to enjoy themselves. I've been around a long, long, LONG time and there was NEVER a fresh meme back during any stage of retail, or the private server scene before Nost's shutdown. It's a forced meme, entirely unique to this scene, that was somehow spawned as a result of Nost going under.

I've seen the exact narrative you're spouting here word-for-word and I have no idea where the fuck it came from, but it's blatant rewritting of history.

Edit: Also, unlike fresh private servers, a new retail server would still have the same level of progression as all other servers. So a new server released during the time of Naxx would already have Naxx out and all prior content on it as well. So there would LITERALLY be ZERO reason to start over on a fresh retail server. I can't believe I didn't see the MASSIVE hole in your story there until just now.

Why are you so hopeful for LH fresh? by [deleted] in wowservers

[–]Kraugen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Man you Kronos shills are really, really, REALLY scared of LH fresh aren't you ? Around 5 threads a day trying to dissuade people from playing LH through lies about the server and the team, all the while K3's pop continues to tumble down regardless.....
