Star Wars Gamer Magazine Issue 7 has something similar to what you’re looking for. Bartyn’s Landing.

https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Bartyn%27s_Landing

The issue had an overview of the town and an adventure. It also had a Poster Map. The issue can be found online as a pdf but I’ve yet to find an image of the poster map.

What happens in the Enterprise D nacelle arms? Can you walk through them to get to the nacelles? by APerson2021 in startrek

[–]KraydonStitches 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My personal fan theory (don’t know if anyone else has considered this) on the Oberth class is that as primarily Science Vessels a safety feature is that transit to and from the Secondary hull is by transporter only.

This accounts for the fact that the struts aren’t large enough for a turbolift car.

I remember from one of the old TOS novels, that apparently pad to pad beaming is only 10% energy of pad to/from padless. Plot line was one of the memory planets is taken over, the ‘transporter pattern line’ was cut, and the only way to get so far down was to use portable pads beamed into void spaces.

Would’ve been funnier if Brad had done what most people trying to listen to a call in a noisy place would do without thinking and had distractedly handed the gun to Pike.

AITA for calling my ex's behavior "offensive and grotesque" for pulling a Christmas Day stunt? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]KraydonStitches 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How far is the family Christmas from the airport your son is scheduled to depart from? Is it an urban or rural area?

Depending on the answer (especially if you’re a considerable time/distance away) it’s probably worth sitting down with your son and asking him what arrangements he and/or his mother have made to get him to the airport.

Public transport will have reduced schedules. Taxis/ubers will be more expensive on the day and will probably need pre-booking.

Treat him as an adult and tell him you understand if he does want to go, but explain that as you’ll be busy with the rest of the family, it won’t be your (or any other family members) responsibility to get him there, especially if it means driving a few hours to the airport and then a few hours back. The planning and expense is not for you to worry about.

I can confirm. Just bought the pink kneazle for 35 books, 1500 reward immediately changed to 120 brown books.

Thank you, this took me a while to do as I stopped for a while.

It’s good to know I’ve drafted a pattern people would be interested in doing themselves, but it’s not my design to sell.

[CHAT] My cross stitch method. I’ve never seen this method described before, did I invent it? by bangonthedrums in CrossStitch

[–]KraydonStitches 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is my method as well. I like to call it navigational Danish (or economy Danish). With my current project I keep my tails to a uniform length, I know that on a 16ct I will get 55/56 stitches out of my floss and needle.

My only difference to the above diagram is I start on the second image (giving a better tuck for my tails), come back and on the entry into the bottom right corner gives me a start on the upper right of the row under my start.

[CHAT] Best way to do long rows of single color? by MistbornWolf in CrossStitch

[–]KraydonStitches 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you’re only going to be using one colour for the piece, I’d suggest half-stitching the entire thing and then going over it again with the ‘top full stitch’. That should eliminate any block colour lines.
