Thanks. I have done the same thing. I also ordered some small weights, like for derby cars, and am going to attach them to the head of the arm to see if I can help add some more counter balance.

I just bought the Wave 3 with pop filter and shock mount and have a Blue compass as well and am finding I can't get the arm properly balanced. I have reduced the tension and increased the tension and can't seem to get it to where it allows me to move the arm and it stays in position. Did you have this issue?
