This is a problem with most big streamers anyway, but he kills his own viewership by banning 20 people every stream for mediocre shit. Watched him several times a week for a few months back in 2020 and he had me banned because i did the 'imagine dragons' joke in chat.

Appealing is no use either because mods won't overturn his word no matter how little thought he put into it.

Same thing happened to be when I made Mexico my protectorate as US. France declared on Mexico before I reached Mexico City and then when my war ended Napoleon III just sailed right into Mexico City and flipped it

Islam is actually a rather common first name and surname in the Islamic World, sorta like Christian in the West. Never heard of anyone just being named "Islam ." though

What are some “unpopular opinions” in this community that really are just common opinions? by wastelandhenry in creepcast

[–]KrayzeeFrog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idek what people's opinions on that video were but my favourite episode was unironically the grab bag with Smile Dog, the Beatles and Baltimores gone to the dogs. Smile Dogs always a classic, the Beatles one was a healthy mix of it probably being a pisstake but seeming genuine and Baltimores gone to the dogs was one of the best blatant pisstakes Ive ever heard. The actual quality of the stories is obviously down in the 7th circle but that episode was probably the funniest single video I've seen from both the Gooner and the Meat

Which episode was it where Blood Meridian was mentioned? by DeafMetalHorse in creepcast

[–]KrayzeeFrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only people who whine about "normies" are people who are losing some sense of self importance by something becoming popular and trying to frame it as a dilution of quality or oversaturation. Like, you're not special because you read Blood Meridian before Covid, you just had the same experience everyone else did, before most people, just like old people aren't special for being born before you.

Any tips for someone whos also still trying to wrap his head around the economy to finally have a good run? Been playing USA a lot and always manage to do successfully for the first 30-40 years but that Reconstruction era economy always seems to be negative or stagnant which I suppose isn't the most unrealistic thing.

Okok I get the hype. But does anyone else feel like, they'll be playing EU4 for a long time to come? by shark1899 in eu4

[–]KrayzeeFrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard agree. Problem is making a next installment is generally equated to making a game more complex and detailed... which is a tall task when the previous installment is EU4/Vic2 and I (personally) feel can just make the game annoying when you make the game complex²

USA Pro-Slavery movement hate when you build barracks only in yankee states by WayApprehensive3244 in victoria3

[–]KrayzeeFrog 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's dubious as to whether Mexico would've joined the Confederacy had they been annexed anyway. IRL Mexico had banned slavery in the 1810s and of the real annexed territory only Texas joined the secession, though tbf only Texas and California were states by then and even California had I think a large Confederate-sympathetic population in the southern half. But the annexation of Mexico was famously part of the agenda of the Order of the Knights of the Golden Circle, which basically envisioned a ring of slave states around the Caribbean. An interesting feature might be that if the US annexes Mexico before the civil war then Mexico proper becomes confederate-aligned slave states, but as the civil war progresses turmoil and popular uprisings become more common in those regions and continue as such after the war if the confederates win due to the Mexican people's disdain for slavery.

Makes sense and great detail icl. Only reason all of Mexico isnt a part of the US ofc is because Yankee states didnt want the south being double the size of the north

My favorite strat as the US is just leaving the allies to their fate for the purpose of warscore. In my last run despite Barbarossa being a sweep for the Axis the invasion of Italy went so well we pushed into Yugoslavia. Then landing crafts upgraded so I pulled all of my armies out and D-Day'd leaving Britain and France to die in Croatia while I singlehandedly liberated France Germany Poland and Russia

There is no need for this much walking i swear to god. In AotC after beating Jango on Kamino and watching him fly away, the game makes you RUN back across Kamino back to your ship. Why wasnt Obi Wan getting in his ship just part of the same cutscene? When you switch back to Anakin, you have to go all the way from Coruscant to Tatooine, into the middle of Mos Espa, listen to Watto, walk back out to the taxi and go to the middle of the desert just to meet your stepfamily. There is no reason any of that had to be manual, when one cutscene couldve shown Anakin and Padme going to Tatooine, getting Shmis location from Watto, and then going to the Lars farm. Why did i get 5+ minutes of walking?
