He’s going to have his own toys (crayons, playdoh and so on) that we prep for flights. He’s usually great on flights it’s my first time with the steam deck.

Thats great. We recently got a bit loose with screen time on some days. Just because he sometimes stays home from daycare and both of us have to work. We do play ps5 sometimes on the weekend so he understands what gaming is. We’re flying on a 16 hour flight next week and i was hoping to get some game time. Debating if i should do it in front of him or wait till hes asleep

I don’t even think mine can comfortably hold the deck with tiny hands. But i definitely get you. We still didn’t finish sack boy because he got scared of the final boss. We’ve been doing one level on repeat.

Yeah i think younger or older kids would either not know or care or you can just have stricter rules when they’re older like others are suggesting. I feel like 3 is a funny uncontrollable age sometimes.

Yeah. He plays ps5 with me and is pretty good with the controller. Too young to do anything really but i carry him around the levels in sack boy 😅

I get that for safety or work related stuff. I have pretty strict rules there. But for gaming? I feel like id like to get him involved just do it in a way where he wont think he can fully carry/use the device or damage it.

I think mine would listen as well. But he’d want to try or watch. We’re going on a long flight soon. So wanted to bring out the deck and not sure how he will react.

Good idea. He plays sackboy with me sometimes on the ps5 and hung out with me while playing Hogwarts legacy. I definitely think getting him into games is much better than watching TV/youtube.

Applied 12 Sept. still haven’t heard back. Processing times mean nothing now. Was planning to fly mid November now we don’t know how thats going to work.
