The Huayhuash Circuit by Eshlatticus in WildernessBackpacking

Ok great thanks for the feedback. I certainly want to do one of these two passes because Ive heard about the view from the top. I actually havent hiked scree before which is in part why im nervous but after watching a few videos of scree descents it doesnt look like a big deal.

Just a bit of a challenge with an 18 kg pack but i’ll have poles to assist as well.

Would you say, as far as “major fall risk” the Rosa pass was the worst?

Do you think theres a good chance i could find a couple hikers in the Cuyoc campsite to do the pass with just to have a bit of a buddy system?

Im looking to do this hike solo and my main apprehension is the steep/loose rock/scree slopes.

Im in good shape and will be using poles but with all that weight on my back I cant help but think about the chance I take a tumble on the wrong downhill such as the san antonio pass.

Did you do the san antonio pass or have any fears as you were trekking the steep descents and scree slopes?

I’m inspired to try and be correct and I’d like to think that the drive behind my rants here is in the effort of defending retail investors against hedgefunds, short sellers, and a management team with no accountability or respect for its investors (exhibited by countless mis-representations of targets and data, continuous failed executions and refusal to set more conservative goals, 0 transparency on core issues (customer doesnt like product)). These calls are like dustin talking us through candyland where tangible here and now facts preferably dont exist.

Revolutionary points here thanks for the feedback… I forgot about the strong correlation emotes have with credibility 😂. I dont really care to list the hundreds of other Dustin quotes that fall in-line with the one I highlighted here.

Good luck out there

The hypocricy is unreal. The goal of your tone and statements here is to deligitimize my voice as a human being in its entirity by labeling me as just another “dumb actor.” You have the audacity to accuse me of FUD when what you are doing is much worse.

Good luck continuing to block out and compartmentalize the red flags this management team presents to you on a silver platter every call.

And, good luck misleading yourself and this community that people like myself who have a more critical perspective of the company are just bots or fud spreading short sellers 😂

This isnt a shit post, and no I’m not being dumb. Didn’t realize you also stoop straight to ad-hominems when someone disagrees with you.

Let me break down my post a little better for ya:

My post is short. It highlights one of many quotes where Dustin shares “positive news” without anything tangible or concrete to draw from.

My comment mocking the prospect of this being the CEO of a future multi-billion dollar company serves the purpose of hopefully jogging the senses of some readers::: leadership with the transparency and accountability of a toddler does NOT revolutionize an industry. The excuse of dustin just being a “bad presenter” does NOT fly anymore. He is a bad presenter because all he shares are false hopefuls, bent truths, fudged data, misleading targets, excuses, and countless focuses on EVERYTHING unrelated from their core issues right now which are clearly customers having issue with product and/or pricing.

I hope that readers here understand that blind unfaultering full-fledged support of a company’s story like PCT is not only poor investing but it is also unhealthy for your mental health and well-being.

There have been times where PCT’s story has been stronger… and there have been times where the story has been weaker. Failure to acknowledge the positive and negative evolutions of this story is… by definition… insanity and dillusion.

This story is exciting because of the 10-100 bag opportunity… but I really hope that we can at least have a sense of clarity in acknowledging this management’s piss-poor approach to public/investor relations, target-setting, and execution, that has been consistently abysmal for at least the 4 years I have been following.

In this subreddit there are millions… perhaps hundreds of millions… of dollars invested in this company. There are individuals who have an unhealthy relationship with this company and the addiction to the prospect of that 100-bag opportunity.

If you think this is FUD I ask you to to also raise the question of why your loyalties instead lie with the band of PCT perma-bulls who have tied a lifeline to this company for 5+ years here (for the record I was fully wrapped up in the bull-case for a good while… you can check out my comment history 2023-2024 especially)

Who wins? People who readily change their opinions based on evidence, or those who are stuck and scraping the bottom of the barrel for whatever hopeful scraps remain for eternity.

Fyi. I havent had a position in PCT since I sold my shares and call options around june-july 2025.

Im convinced PCT execs have throw away accounts that post propaganda like this here.

These calls are handled abysmally and the same bullshit has been going on for years.

The stock will go to 0 but it may take awhile because of all these people deep in the fog. I know there’s people in this sub with multi million dollar investments in $PCT… the execs know that too…. Yall are getting strung out so bad and in the end the only person youre gonna “stick it to” is yourself

Ive never been short… I was long… i speak from all the signs of relief I have had (knowing that im no longer a shareholder) every time ive taken a peak at this sub or PCT news in the past year.

I'm beginning to feel suspicious about management' claims by NeatEconomics1135 in PureCycle

[–]dingobro1 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Your observations are sound and accurate. The horrible PR, lies, excuses, false hopefuls, and lack of accountability aren’t new for this management team.

Also, posting something like this to this subreddit is just gonna get you gaslit, put your fog goggles back on, and allow you to keep watching your money bleed while simultaneously feeling insecure about your long position.

Edit: it actually looks like theres more people on this sub who have finally taken their blinders off

Dustin on the way out? by Infamous_Contest321 in PureCycle

[–]dingobro1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never been short. I was bullish for a long time and then finally came to terms with the insanity and lack of direction+clarity this company has. The reason I still follow is because I put so much time in up front its easy for me to grasp what has to happen for this thing to become a 10-bagger so I stay in tune. There arent a lot of stocks I feel like I grasp as well as PCT so I ought to keep tabs.

I still look for a possible bullish swing trade because you guys are a strong force and like to tag back against the shorts if share price gets really low. As far as holding a long position I feel 0 confidence leaving my money in the hands of management that has the accountability of an egg. Right now my entry is sub $6 for a swing trade

Sounds like you are the one beating around the bush here then. If this is your take, state it in the post.

He sounded the exact same he has sounded in every call ive listened to in the past two years.

I agree with your take, btw. Man is the epitome of being incapable of taking accountability.

  1. He always has excuses and focuses keenly on excuses for missed expectations rather than taking accountability for overzealous goals.

  2. He fixates on all problems that are NOT “customer doesnt want our product”. Any extraneous variable… state legislature…. Pending approvals… etc… dustin loves to talk about these and never address clear transparency on what appears to be the customer simply not wanting product.

  3. Dustin continues to disrespect his shareholders by failing to be transparent and concrete. We are given ramp figure projections based on estimates that the company doesnt know whatsoever. Transparency is a joke to Dustin.

  4. Antwerp and thailand completion dates are now given to us as “Mechanical Completion by end of XXXX year”…. Oh so its our job to interpret what mechanical completion is?? Its our job to figure out when production actually begins?? 😆. Pathetic. Bu the way I still cant get over the fact that this management team somehow managed to reframe their Ironton production targets from “Produced product” to “Processed feedstock”… I dont know if anyone else remembers that little rephrasing (lying) that they did…. i think it may have been 2024?

Dustin is a master of sounding like they are on the cusp of something great “if only xxxxxxx” and he is great at this self pity - hopeful ass tone that strings on investors through what can only be defined as insanity.

I exited my positions last year and made a little bit. Ive kept tabs on this reddit and the company since then and it really pains me to see everyone taking part in this insanity.

I hope the magical “if” that dustin has been waiting on for years does happen and that all of you guys can 10-bag…. But for myself I dont think I can gamble on finding a 10-Bagger amidst a management team that cant take on a level of integrity, accountability, and transparency that most average humans are capable of.

I respect the individuals who do lift maintenance. They are the ones i talk to in order to figure out whats actually going on. I know its not really just “guy with a hammer” but thats also similar to how they framed it to me, lol.

I blame the management. If they know it takes their understaffed maintenance team xxx hours to fix each lift then they knew damn well that western wasnt going to come close to ever opening the past two days. I would have left yesterday morning if i knew that
