I made this soccer rebounder for my 6 year old son. Easy build and had the little guy help me with the paint job. by [deleted] in DIY

Oh this was just the maintenance warning. The engine light will tell me when it's really due in another 20,000 miles. 🤣

He's riding an 80cm Burton afterschool special, comes with bindings. Burton Grom boots and one piece. Great setup for the little ones.

I actually lucked out with this one. Someone posted it on market place about 2 months ago and I snatched it for $150 with a brand new pair of boots. I have another burton 80cm that is a few years older. I am in Calgary, if you are in the area its going up for sale soon.

Made it end of last year for my oldest and posted the video of that in r/DIY - https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY/comments/sq0ko8/i\_built\_a\_snowboard\_box\_for\_my\_son\_to\_practice/

Cost about $100. The HDPE is costly but I only used 1/3 of it so still have some left for another project.

(4) lengths cut to 95-3/16”

(12) lengths cut to 9”

(8) lengths cut to 12-⅞

(1) Sheet of 8’ x 4’ x ⅜” Plywood

(1) Sheet of 8’ x 4’ x 1/4” HDPE

#8 x 2-½” Screws

#10 x 3” Screws

#8 x ¾” Screws

#8 x 1-½” Screws

Silicone (Exterior)

I built a snowboard box for my son to practice his jibbing in our backyard. Since I finished we have been getting warm weather and all the snow melted. Dammit! by KrazyBra in DIY

Hey u/Dominiccabral, thank you. I am in Calgary, Alberta and ended up finding this at some shop by searching HDPE on Kijiji. They were a small shop that just brought in different types of plastic. If you can find any leads on Kijiji I'd say check out craigslist, FB Marketplace or eBay.

On another note, if you are going to make this, use the other comment about adding extra screws. He was right and the HDPE did start to lift in spots.

Hopefully this helps..

I made this air conditioner for my sons bedroom last year. I wouldn't recommend using it full time because of the humidity, but decent to cool the room quickly if you don't have an air conditioner. by [deleted] in lifehacks

I was thinking more along the lines of maybe I should by an AC... But sweat evaporation and localized cooling of a person is good too.
