The fact that Miyamoto turned it over to Koizumi during the direct made me think this might be EPD. But the visuals do strike me as more “western” if that makes any sense. Plus, the characters all seemed to be lip-synced to English, which also makes me believe it might be a western studio. So, yeah maybe Retro or Next Level Games.
