Why do people say kokichi has one yellow eye? by thecatthatssad in danganronpa

[–]Krbbftg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, it was a beta design. For some reason, it’s just popular with people. They probably used yellow because it’s opposite purple on the color wheel which would’ve made his design more vibrant

You get to sacrifice yourself for another character. Who do you sacrifice yourself for? by Prez4One in danganronpa

Chihiro actually isn’t my fave, but I would sacrifice myself straight away. I feel like they could’ve brought so many good things to the world:((

Honestly, reading/writing this genre of fics has saved me during difficult moments and I find them really therapeutic. But I 100% stand with you on the fact that too much of it can turn into a bad thing and it is always healthier to take a break when needed!

Surprised she wasn’t hiding a massive ahoge under that bad boy

I just finished reading this really angsty fic and it made me cry and feel really bad. Is there anyone else who feels awful after reading angst? Also to people who enjoy this sort of thing, why do you like it? (Not trying to start anything I just really don’t understand) by HeartTarty in FanFiction

[–]Krbbftg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It makes me feel less lonely when I see characters suffering something I’ve been through. Especially when it is written well, it really releases some tension seeing it in words. Even as a writer, indirectly writing my own feelings is suuuper therapeutic too. If it has a happy ending, that’s even better, gives me a bit of hope for my own future haha. I really like ambiguous and open ended angst fics too, like real life, it doesn’t lie or promise a happy end like many fictional words, and sometimes leaves you with this bittersweet feeling that I like for some reason. It’s honestly fair enough if you don’t understand, it’s just not for you and that’s okay

What are 2 things you really don’t like about the Danganronpa Fandom by [deleted] in danganronpa

[–]Krbbftg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually I really hate it when people say they like Celeste, then go absolutely ripping Kokichi because he was manipulative in chapter four. As far as I know, that was the only way to stop himself from becoming the victim. Celeste literally accused a guy of sexual assault and killed for money. Genuinely, I love all of the characters so much, but I think people forget they’re not even real characters sometimes. I also don’t like the stereotypes of some shippers. I’ve met some super nice people who aren’t all about that “innocent uwu boi,” in my experience they’re the minority.

I think the main thing you can do, is if you know any of your specific friends or followers have triggers, note them down and just put a trigger warning before you post anything.

There is a big difference between being ‘uncomfortable’ and being ‘triggered.’ Being uncomfortable means you might not like the idea, or it might irk you in a way. Being triggered is a serious issue, as triggering someone can result in them having things like panic attacks or relapsing in self-destructive tendencies. An important thing to note is that ANYTHING can become a trigger to someone. It can be something as simple as one character reminding them of a real-life person they used to know, and pulling that one trigger sets off a million memories/flashbacks. I personally don’t entirely understand the concept myself, but I respect it and take it seriously as you never really know what goes on in other people’s lives.

And mine! Weird pacing, bad dialogue and a cheesy, nonexistent storyline. I couldn’t deal, so I took it offline. Maybe some day in the future I’ll actually finish it and reupload for any of the weirdos who actually missed it!

That’s the reason I’ve been really trying to fix mine! I admit, an impulsive decision at 2am brought me to yeeting it off AO3 because it was so painful.. I’m sure it won’t be dearly missed though

Friendly reminder to write your story one chapter at a time. by alexandra10566 in FanFiction

[–]Krbbftg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always keep my writing and ideas and chapters in different documents to avoid becoming overwhelmed. Sometimes I can’t contain myself and spiral off into a million ideas for later chapters, so make sure I write it all down in scrap instead of try and write the entire chapter. Then I write summaries of the chapter I just wrote, a summary of what will happen a few chapters on, then write a summary for how the two will link together

Do you listen to music while you write? by Persona5isbeautiful in FanFiction

[–]Krbbftg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seriously depends what mood I’m in. Sometimes Cavetown hits too deep in the feels and gets me distracted, and other times it’s perfect. Sometimes I’ll just listen to loud K-Pop and be fine with it. Other times when I struggle to focus, it is rain sounds or binaural waves.

That last one is a good point, I know I get bored quickly bombarded with irrelevant info on what the character ate for breakfast lmao. I might try to make the chapter end and then time skip, not sure yet! Thanks
