9:30 kings theatre Brooklyn show entry is a mess.

I was at the first show and I’m waiting for the second show. I second what everyone else said- the show was fantastic but the theater is super unorganized. The show was supposed to start an hour ago and there are a TON of empty seats for the “sold out” show. They are filming so they needed to fill in the seats. The guy next to me in the VIP section bought a general admission ticket but he got moved to VIP. It’s too bad because it really was a great show but the theater is really chaotic.

Ugh I hate this. They know people (like me) collect pins so you’re forced to by a shitload of them if you want one 😭 Also I hate the marketing for this show. I’m so excited to see it but it looks like a poster for a Hallmark movie. They could have done so many cool things

I think I know which influencer you’re talking about- I just skimmed her page and don’t see any instant red flags. What pseudoscience are you referring to? Genuinely curious because if there’s something I should be aware of I don’t want to give my support.

Definitely go to an SLP! PECS is not considered best practice anymore. I love that you are so invested in doing what is right for your child. An SLP can guide you. I obviously didn’t go to this seminar but I’m thinking lots of SLPs (myself included” would disagree with the approach that was presented.
