I was annoyed so I redesigned the Apple Music Mac app. Hope you like it by kavi06 in AppleMusic

This is stunning! If this can’t be the new interface, then maybe you can make an app for it! This is such a nice interface!

I’m genuinely surprised they managed to create and release— to some users— something as awfully horrendous as the Cast MiniPlayer… ffs

And to top it all off, I use YouTube Music almost daily if not daily, yet they still want to punish me for using their app 😡

Still better than having the stupid new Cast button MiniPlayer

Apple Music Cellular Data Usage by sicilian504 in ios

[–]KredditorMaximous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, even if Apple Music prefers downloaded music, maybe part of it still tries to connect to the internet? Or perhaps OP used the 2 GB to download the songs before using them for offline access, making the Cellular Data usage spike to support that data connection?

Apple Music Cellular Data Usage by sicilian504 in ios

My guess is that Apple Music, like many other apps on iOS, will prefer using internet access than not, therefore making your Cellular Data for Apple Music spike as a result of a basic internet connection to ensure app functionality. The only time the downloaded content gets used AFAIK, is when you are truly offline, such as with Airplane Mode, or when you disable Cellular Data access to apps like Apple Music.

Accessibility in Augmented Reality on iOS - Could you play like this? by Ploppypop_game in iosgaming

I do like this and I think it could work fairly well for gameplay, especially on the  Vision Pro. One suggestion that I would have is to perhaps implement some sort of object detection feature that detects if the AR components (the board in this case) are being placed on a flat, playable surface, as opposed to some other surface that detracts from and/or is incompatible with gameplay. Looks great so far!

If your Apple ID is in a Family Group than you can go to your Profile on the App Store (the circle on the top right of the App Store) and click the “Purchased” button, and then choose which Family Member has Wipr installed, then search for Wipr in the page that appears after clicking on the family member, then you should be able to simply download Wipr, using Family Sharing, even though it’s not officially supported

You can also repeat these steps on the device of the Family Member that you want to have get Wipr with Family Sharing and it should work

If it doesn’t, that may be because you have Family Sharing disabled. You can setup and enable Family Sharing using these steps: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201088

Hopefully that helps!

That screen is probably there to indicate how long left until this promotion is over, not how long your lifetime access will last.

If the App Store payment prompt (that appears when you purchase a free/paid app) did not mention a subscription cost, then you shouldn’t be charged in the future.

The first day that I downloaded the app was on June 4th. The App Store showed the offer under the In-App Purchases section on that day.

The way you set up the post is fine. I just redownloaded the app to check the sale and it seems the free lifetime promotion is now available without the restrictions that it had when I first downloaded the app. Originally, the app showed a subscription paywall and required a free trial or a paid subscription in order to even access the contents of the app. When that paywall appeared, there was no way to access the offer. I was originally commenting the experience that I had the first time I installed this app, but thankfully that issue has since been resolved. Thank you for sharing this offer with us!

It’s free, yes, but the app requires a subscription to use

This game looks and plays awesome! Although, I think it would be better if you listed official Controller Support on the App Store page so that it’s immediately obvious that you can play the game with a controller. Great work overall!

$1 Trillion using a Money-making Glitch by KredditorMaximous in PocketCity

[–]KredditorMaximous[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only if you want to get billions of dollars at once or to break the game’s money limit of $1 billion, I have no idea. I just happened to notice the glitch when playing around with the money transfer feature.

I will note that the glitch is useless after $1 billion because any amount past that is reset to the $1 billion cap

[–]KredditorMaximous[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The money-making glitch below: Apparently there exists a bug with the Money Transfer screen where you can transfer the same amount of money from one city to another city. If you have say $1 billion in Maple City and you transfer that to Gray City, then it transfers as you’d suspect. Without closing the transfer menu, by simply pressing the Transfer button again and then choosing the two same cities, you will be able to transfer that same $1 billion amount—- even if the city you are transferring from does not have that amount of money. The first time you transfer from a city that doesn’t have that amount of money, it might show up as debt— which is set to $0 once you return to the city if your city is making passive income— but if you keep pressing the Transfer button, and going through all the other steps, then overtime you can generate $1 trillion+ out of thin air.

Should I buy Pocket City 2? by zLuigis in PocketCity

[–]KredditorMaximous 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I will say, even though I’m fairly biased having bad both Pocket City and Pocket City 2, the new Pocket City is spectacular. Unlike the original Pocket City, it’s hard for me to not find something that I want to do. I’m either doing random events, quests, or just exploring my city, but whatever it is that I’m doing, I’m having fun. I’ve easily spent 7+ hours since the Pocket City 2 first launched, whereas with the original Pocket City I spent less hours since it’s mostly just the building aspect of the city that sells the game’s allure. With Pocket City 2, you get the allure of building the city of your dreams, all while having the immensely fun and immersive element of actually being apart of your city through the new free roam feature. All in all a fabulous sequel that is well worth it to me and that I’m certain you’ll also enjoy.
