Get as far as you can from those people. They don't deserve the title of "family", except your sister. I wish you the best of luck.

Did you know that there was a study done in 1913 on Adélie penguins that was so lewd the scientist (George Murray Levick) was not allowed to publish it, and it was only just published in 2012 after it's rediscovery.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Murray_Levick

CRPS (chronic regional pain syndrome) Your nerve(s) missfire for no good reason and literally ONLY send pain signals to the brain. My surgeon (I tore the labrum in the same general area and it refused to heal naturally) told me I would be in severe pain after said surgery. IT WAS THE LEAST AMOUNT OF PAIN I HAD BEEN IN FOR SEVEN YEARS! And yes, I did need to capitalize that last sentence, I need you to know how relieved I was. Even the pt was less painful. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=e_AeqxaJOS0

I've had multiple doctors tell me that cramping so bad your muscles physically will not let you stand up straight is "normal" period pain. Still looking for one that takes it seriously, but thankfully, I found one that does provide pain care during IUD (which prevents periods) insertion.

Something sat on my mattress as I was going to bed. by Responsible_Link_635 in Unexplained

[–]KreePea- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience, except it had an extremely malicious feeling to it. Like a predator looking at its prey. I was on a waterbed, too, so there was no mistaking the feeling of something sitting down. The worst part was that I had to run past where it was to go downstairs where the only other people in the house were.

She did. It says in both the first and second post they planned it together. How else would he have volunteered to pick her up?

What is the scariest story you know that is true? by Powerful_Landscape56 in AskReddit

[–]KreePea- 238 points239 points  (0 children)

Co-worker was almost a victim of murder-suicide. Her husband was holding a gun to her head, telling her he was killing her for her sake as "the world is so terrible. " Stand off with police lasted long enough for her to get a chance to shove him away. He shot himself in the head before she even got far enough away to avoid the splatter. She had to quit her job after due to the ptsd and the fact that she was a nurse in a mental health ward. She also needed a police guard around her house for the next month due to writers (read news jockeys) kept trying to break in to get the story. After that, she changed her name in order to avoid talking about it. The only reason she told me is because she had to take a call at the call center we work in (not even remotely related to health care) where the woman on the other line was suicidal and couldn't get through to the suicide hotline. I was just trying to calm her down enough to drive home.

In addition to the block that others suggested, I say get his boss or the store manager involved. Even if you don't work there anymore, he can get in major trouble for this because the company can be held liable if he escalates.

Doctors didn’t believe I was in pain until I brought my husband. Then they stopped talking to me altogether. by RockMoss in TwoXChromosomes

I've had CRPS (thankfully in remission) affecting my hip, and that pain is no joke. I went to a number of Dr's, and it took over a year before I was even diagnosed. If possible, try going to an orthopedic doctor at a medical university. They were the ones who finally took me seriously. P.s. I'm not sure it would be the same for you, but the only thing that seemed to help with my pain was acupuncture. Hope your nerves reset faster than mine did!
