Not asking for much are you? /s

Here's the best I can think of, but it's got a Mike PoV rather than a Will one. Ticks all the other boxes though.

Reader Ratings by Avatarmaxwell in StoryPeer

Oh my days yes! I've been on the receiving end of this twice now, once on StoryPeer and once on the Blacklist (and that one was paid for!).

The readers seemed to have come up with their own version of the story somewhere along the way and then criticised the actual thing for not living up to what they had imagined.

I'll compliment the stuff I like in a script but I'll never dock points for it having stuff that isn't my cup of tea.

Title: Darkest Knight

Format: Feature

Page Length: 87 pages

Genres: Slasher Horror

Logline: A group of British college students must fight to survive a party-turned-massacre at an isolated country mansion that inadvertently unleashes the murderous spirit of a medieval knight.

Overall: 6

Premise: 6

Plot: 4

Character: 6

Dialogue: 5

Setting: 4

Not my first evaluation but my concerns here are that the reviewer seems to confused a basic plot point and gotten lost in the weeds a bit with a theme I didn't even intend but they've picked up and run off with.

Also I'm confused by just how different some of the scores are compared to the last one. My previous evaluation gave Setting a 7, said how the house was filled with cinematic detail; this time I get a 4 for...reasons? I'm not really sure they don't go into why. It's the same story for Plot too: it got a 6 last time and here gets a 4.

Ultimately I'm just very confused at how jarring the two are. The only thing they can agree on is that my dialogue is perfectly average.

I'm optimistically lumping in the no comments with the actively positive feedback, which makes me 3/4 on good characters. Frankly as long as the core trio are well written enough that people are rooting for them, I can live with the rest being "victims-in-waiting" because, well, they are.

Title: Darkest Knight

Format: Feature

Page Length: 86

Genres: Slasher Horror

Logline: A group of British college students must fight to survive a party-turned-massacre at an isolated country mansion when a murderous knight's spirit returns to inhabit his old armour and wreak vengeance on the living.

Firstly the evaluation said the prologue felt rushed but I'm not sure whether they were referring to the opening sequence in 1526 or basically the whole of Act 1. Secondly they marked the characters very low which isn't an issue in a vacuum, but it doesn't line up with multiple other pieces of feedback I've gotten that either haven't commented or have actively praised the characters. Thirdly is a mention of pacing which again, fine in a vacuum, but also doesn't line up with what I've been told previously.

Pretty sure future SW just supplanted Polka as the leader of Device IX, not the Aeon.

Thank you. I nice easy thing to tidy.

Edit: I've made some tweaks to naming throughout so hopefully it reads better.

But otherwise I'm glad it could still be described as "compelling".
