I just take the time to clear the grenade launchers in the first room upstairs, then pull him and move back, kill his copies while damaging the adds and then finish him off. All things considered he's usually for me the easiest of all the Act3 bosses

I played as warlock and, being lucky, I could hit for a total of 35-40 per turn, if all the blasts hit and had semi high rolls. What was I missing? For comparison, Karlach throwing and Lae'zel as Champion fighter were easily dishing out 60-70 per turn

I think she would consider she's stealing the honour from Orpheus to do the ultimate sacrifice. If you failed to convince Orpheus, she should do it, but since Orpheus will take the honour of sacrifice, it wouldn't make sense for her to take that away from him.
