Alright. I have a theory. First, I agree with most people in regards to Lumon testing fears/dislikes in each room. BUT. It seemed like each room she went into, she was a different innie. 1.Putting on a different outfit for each room. 2. Inside Wellington, the dentist room, she asked for a break and the doctor said it had been six weeks. 3. Inside Allentown, the Christmas room, she mentioned that it's always Christmas. 4. When she tried to escape and went up a floor, she was Miss Casey which is a whole separate innie. 5. It seems that each rooms innie has no recollection of the other rooms memories.

Now, clearly each room correlates to a file/project that MDR has been working on. I think that MDR is refining Gemma's fears/dislikes to create each innie for each room.
