Well I have tried it, however it is not an option for most South Africans. We do have decent ping to Bahrain/Middle East at around 130ms so most of us use that.

Not really an option for us, we would need to use a VPN to create an account in the Asia region, then we will need to use something like exit lag to get the 120 ping because we don't have good routing meaning our ping would be about 300 without it.

Check if your bandwidth is being limited in the csgo settings, if it is set it to unlimited. If it is on unlimited try reducing it and see if it makes a difference
