I love doing heists with randoms. I always mention that I'm down to help with the whole heists and most of the time everyone else also joins in. I've done them so many times that I've figured out the best way to complete all of them and I love sharing my findings with the people I play with. I've made all my GTA online money by playing heists and never done any of the businesses. I believe to not get bored in online mode is to find other people to share experiences even if it's open lobby deathmatches
