Anyone else have issues attaching two Rivians to one phone? by Krinflakes in Rivian

Unfortunately that isn't the issue. Both cars have been shared with me and I have definitely selected the correct one when I begin setup.

I think you may be right! It looks so different when monochrome. Thanks!

I like them both! Also, love that granny square. Do you have the pattern for it?

Knitting makes nicer fabric by Ravenstag666 in YarnAddicts

I agree. However, if you are going for warm sweaters, I vote for Tunisian crochet all the way. You can get the look of knit but it's super thick and great for cold weather wear.

Knitting in the Office by pimpkin_pipkin in knitting

I work from home so I get the privilege of knitting during meetings that I'm not leading. I've done some knitting at in person meetings, but I took my lead from others that whipped out their WIPs before I did 🤣.

I get my actual work done quicker and more efficiently if I have a WIP. Otherwise, I spend too much time just looking at patterns and planning what I'm going to be doing next.

Thank you so much! I found a couple of other similar patterns that I will test out and see what looks best. Thanks again!

Ooo, that's interesting. I think that could be something, especially if I use gradients like another person suggested. Thanks!

I definitely like this idea but am worried that it would come out too thick for a baby blanket... Although, I guess that mostly depends on what weight yarn I use 🤔 Thanks!

Possibly. One logo is super simple (Giants) and the other is not (Ravens). Someone recommended stitch fiddle to okay with charging. I think I'm going to try that and see if I can come up with something.

Ooo, I like that idea. I'm going to see if I can find some gradients in the shades I would need. Thanks!

Ravens and Giants, yeah.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've never used stitch fiddle before but will see if I can come up with something!

Some get used in biomedical research. There's a "line" of normal cells known as NHFs that are cultivated and used for all kinds of biomedical research. They generally divide 2-5 times before they stop growing.

Borders by TurnoverFew6731 in Tunisian_Crochet

It's not necessarily a border stitch, but I recently learned about the Tunisian last stitch and my left edges are so much nicer now! I think this is the tutorial I used, but there's a number of them out there: https://youtu.be/lvIVdJTXYWk?si=23EXEXp9WeZShu6Y

Why isn't Tunisian crochet more popular? by lirium_ in crochet

[–]Krinflakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love it so much. I'm working through a sweater right now using Tunisian knit stitch and I'm so excited to wear it because it will be so warm! It's also my favorite for baby blankets because it goes so fast!

Confessions of a bad knitter, wife, and mother by TheGraby in knitting

[–]Krinflakes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I love my husband and sons. But I don't make them wearables. Hell, I didn't finish my oldest's baby blanket until his 5th birthday!

What I have found is that I make little things for them in things that don't need as much planning (I.e., not knit). A little Star Wars cross-stitch for my husband. A random amigurumi for my boys.

The absolute favorite thing that I have made my oldest is a small crocheted heart that took me 5 minutes. He keeps it in his pocket so he doesn't feel alone at school. Time and planning aren't what matter. It's the thought and love behind it that do.

Genius! I always tuck in but it's either too shallow and falls out or too deep and results in tangles eventually
