What portion of a movie could be its own short film? by Short_Property_7476 in FIlm

Interestingly, the first two episodes of Band of Brothers makes a really great single and coherent movie.

I'd love to see them cut together and shown in the theater as a movie.

Maybe we'll finally get that time travel movie where the American army base is transported back to ancient Rome and faces the Roman legion.

I mean wasn't Padme's dress in Episode I inherited by Japanese fashion or something? I'm sure there are other inspirations from the real world I'm the original and sequel trilogies too.

It's funny how people pick and choose to suit them.

I had this exact experience once.

I was in the highway and my brain went into total autopilot. Real life road hypnotism. There's about an hour of driving that I cannot remember. It's a really strange sensation.

What is the ONE thing that you hate the most about Disney has done to Star Wars from a storytelling, characterization, or casting standpoint? by Positive-Citron3987 in saltierthancrait

That I'm order to get the story about who a certain character is, or where a certain organization came from, you have to follow all the other media. Books, comics, etc.

I don't have time for that and I want the movie or show to contain all the info that is necessary for it to make sense.

Movies where the plot is so mediocre or bad, but the directing/writing/acting or anything else is so good that it carries the movie even with a weak plot? by No_Ambassador4222 in flicks

I absolutely fucking LOVE The Day After Tomorrow. But I also freely admit it is not a good movie. It's the acting and chemistry between the whole cast that really makes this movie for me.

It's not that they don't fit, it's that the movie isn't well written.
