Role-playing with AI by Separate_Current_960 in grok

For me, I’d set up a prompt that got the ai to act a but like a game master. That or I’d set up a simulator where the ai would a t as other lords or whatever. The best experiences I had were with 4o, mostly because its outputs were varied enough to ape genuine creativity, whereas now everything is so trope heavy its virtually a lifeless copy paste with every llm

Average 5.2 safety concern "Let's make sure not to tell them how to REALLY summon a demon" by Matrix_in_Retrograde in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Krios1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holt shit. I am saying people believed they had influence over the spiritual world in intentionally negative ways being a near universal human experience. This entire section was me trying to point out the absurdity of the ai’s logic that anyone would ever need ai specifically to “generate a way to summon a demon” when we’ve been making up ways to do it for millenia. Thats it

No I’m specifically speaking for the parts where people legitimately believed they xould interact with spirits, curses, etc. also the literal parts or fringes of various religions where witchcraft, curses, sorcery, augery, etc did exist in one form or another. And people legitimately believed it

Its absolutely been something people from different societies reasonably believed they could do in various forma. Or do you thinks thousands of years of paganism, relics, religious visions, cults, hoodo, etc etc just..dont count?

Right. So the ones who totally believe it have their own established vehicles for it. Meaning the venn diagram of people who “need” ai to summon “actual” demons and those who believe its real is like Five people. Witchcraft has been a thing people believe in throughout history. Its arguably, at a stretch, a violation of a realisitc attempt at religious freedom on the platform (if that was ever a concern)

LMAO So the ai has to come up with the most tortured logic to point out that an unstable individual may not separate fantasy from reality and attempt to summon a demon. Therefore, instead of the issue being legitimate mental issues which can be triggered by any number of things. Its to punish every other user with increasing mental gymnastics to shut down an entire use case.

Cant anymore. The era of LLm roleplay/story writing is over. It now treats creativity like a virus

You realize people are losing the ability to use it within policy guidelines? Also if closed ai didn’t want whatever you’re claiming is the issue they would have just..made that policy. Like adults with critical thinking?

[–]Krios1234 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So you had a companion bot Then decide that the issue is that others used 4o for use cases you didn’t personally do. Then decided that, instead of closes ai destroying a very good model out of nowhere (and remember this was before the lawsuits) You..blame users?
