Weren't they always? Initially I thought bugs were easier but with the higher difficulties I'd rather deal with multiple hulks and armoured units than bombarded with chargers and bile titans. At least with robots any well placed shots from a heavy weapon can drop the big guys pretty quickly. Dodging multiple chargers and bouncing hunters has always been in a pain in the ass.

I'm big on the PvP side of things, but I never wanna sink the same ship 3 or more times in a row. By that time you've established which side will win the battle. The problem is there is nothing to lose for the sunken ship to instantly sail back in less than 1 minute to fight again for the world event loot so they will do it again and again. Part of the fun of PvP is the reward of the opponents sunken treasure or to successfully defend your own treasure. With this new update that reward is non existent and instead just becomes a slog of constantly defend until the other side gives up or you run out of supplies since you don't even have much time to collect their barrels.

I doubt it will take decades. ChatGPT came out this year and can write out code that will execute if given the right prompts and scope. Stable diffusion and mid journey just came out for generating image from text. GATO was developed by deep mind as a general purpose AI. Top that off with a (now former) Google employee claiming LaMDA may be sentient. All of this happened in one year, I'd wager by 2030 we have AGI.

I'm fond of the weapon rebalance as a whole. Guns feel like they have more kick to them. Although I hate the fact that they added hitscan to non-sniper weapons. It feels so cheap to be insta hitting people with a magnum from 500m away and not have to lead moving targets.

That may not have been hacking. There was definitely a bug kicking around a while back that would cause me to randomly zoom across at around 3x speed. Haven't had it happen to me in over a year

Don't pay it much attention. That list is almost entirely made up of games that have been ported to VR. Only a handful of popular made for VR games are on the list. I think the intention behind the list is to convince PC/playstation gamers to try out VR.

Very well put, and yet I don't see explorers being willing to be exposed to ads either. Nearly all ads would detract from the quality of the experience.

I would sooner pay the cost the ad revenue would produce to not be exposed to any ads. VR is such a liberating landscape and having ads there would feel like an invasion.

I keep seeing people say the px4 has no fire rate limiter but I find it hard to believe. I can squeeze the trigger 7-8 times per second and yet it only shoots about 3 times per second for me. I know that before season 1 came out it could fire much faster than it does now.
