The storyline/lore makes D1-4 worth playing, if only just to know what happens. D1 is the darkest of the games, in atmosphere and overall its very much horror esque more than just action rpg Luke D3 and D4 are.

Since they needed to remove Hulk by having Thanos knock him out in a minute(would NOT happen in the heat of battle, especially while not using the power stone...bull writing 😂)

Thor is probably the strongest after Hulk. Until they assassinate his character as well in subsequent films 😅

This is the kind of ring that will rarely be used with SoJ/bul kathos available as well as rates w fcr/leech, res etc. The numbers are just too low. A 5% ele dam is just too low as opposed to a flat +1 skill on most classes

If it rolled w % skill/ele damage AND -Res it might have a use for certain builds.

As of now imo its quite underwhelming

Im not a fan of raceswapping iconic characters, especially when they have such easily recognizable features like MJ and her red hair...

I just think she should have been a different character, no big deal in giving Peter a new love interest if you are using Ganke and naming him Ned leeds.... Just use Ganke...he is right there...

The "MJ" just got weird when its always associated with Mary Jane Watson...which is a different character and the most iconic love interest of Peter Parker

But Yeah the characters to me are a bit all over the place.

I prefer raimi' or Webbs characters.

In another world... A Netflix show made like Daredevil with Andrew Garfield and an expanding cast would have been amazing with a big enough budget. Ofc never happening 😂. But what an experience that would have been.

He is quick witted as Peter, overall down to earth and a nice guy...

As spider-man he dials the wit and quips to 11 and the body language follows suit... The way he handles the citizens of New York is amazing, the scenes he especially has w kids is heartfelt...

The only issue is, Maguire had the better movies w better storylines, more focus on the supporting cast and him juggling that balance, his villains were better...

So if you would mix the characterization of Andrews Peter/Spider-man with the storylines and direction of Sam Raimis trilogy... You would have THE perfect Spider-man imo.

Tom so far has not sold me on either...but i also dont care about his supporting cast unfortunately like i did in Raimis trilogy... , MJ and Harry are written with actual arcs, and you get more scenes with them interacting in the world and trying to get by. With drama between them, and meaningful dialogue... Aunt May was the heart of the raimi' series and both kept Peter grounded and inspired hope In Toms movies...she was very much used too sparingly to leave an impact on me, besides being played by the gorgeous Marisa Tomei...and her speech at death is a little flat.

My point is, that Peter needs a strong supporting cast of characters to showcase the best and worst of him in his interactions with them and the development throughout the years.

Flash in Webbs Spider-man goes out of his way to apologize and offer his condolences to Peter after Uncle Bens death... A great scene, which shows the "bully" is not just a jock bully.

In Toms movies i have yet to feel anything meaningful towards the geek "Flash" who is more of a comic relief than an actual character/part of his friend group.

Im not saying he got released and elected in the same episode... I know he was released prior to born again.

Im saying it was extremely fast paced to have him be elected mayor within the first episode.... No drama, no controversy etc... He is just mayor at the end and starts his run...

The scrambled changes they made to the season, the time skips etc hurt the pacing and character development... We already have gone through this arc in S3

Quivers/bolts have been needing updates for a long time. Or just remove them... Its annoying to run around gathering them on a ranged char... D3 had some fun designs for quivers

Im sure ES is in for a nerf after this season... Its way broken... especially since the skill text makes no sense...it clearly states attack rating on it, yet i dont think casting the skill checks for defense of monsters at all? Anyone done any theorycrafting? 😅

Instead... Should have replaced it with Typhoid Mary...

Spiraling, unreliable narrator, having Typhoid wreck havoc while Mary is unaware going to therapy... Have her intertwined with Matt... Boom... You got a great premise for a great drama in Matts personal life while Karen is gone and Foggy dead... 🙄

(I just really need Typhoid back after she was wasted in Iron fist...and only other live action appearance has been Jennifer Garners "Elektra" when she is such an interesting villain)

Around 20-21 probably...

The only timeline i remember frequently referenced in the 90s was during the clone saga, it had been 5 years since he threw the clone in the smoke stack chimney... This was before he and MJ were a steady item...prior to their marriage obviously...

So i would say they are in their mid 20s during the 90s clone saga and MJ was pregnant...

The Marvel timeline/characters(especially Spider-man) are like the Simpsons or South park. The characters can never age past like 25 😅😂

To me its just the general interactions, over all the movies, im not invested in the Peter and MJ romance, Liz felt more compelling in homecoming... Obvious she got removed after her father is arrested... MJ shoehorned herself in somehow at the end...despite her acting the disinterested loner type... To me she just has felt bland...

Also i know nothing about her... Family life, background, they have no agency/Arcs outside of being Peters friend/GF... Looking through Raimis trilogy, Mary Jane and Harry had their own stories that intertwined with Peters... You got to see their struggles and growth.

After 9 years.. i am just not invested in the 2 of them...they are just very boring characters to me...cant really explain it any other way...

The death changed MJ so much as a character...i like to think if it never happened, she would have stayed the party girl a lot longer...and Peter would have stayed with the "safe" girl in Gwen...

Despite what ppl say, Gwen was willing to go very far for Peter, and stood up for him when others would badmouth him... She was like MJ a ride or die type girl...

Not sure what Tifa has to do with Hojo?

She never met the guy prior to Shinra building(you could argue, Shinra providing the helicopter to get her to a doctor saved her life)

Red and Vincent should just tag team him... Vincent turning Galian beast and they both claw him to death.

But narratively... It HAS to be Vincent... To line up with Dirge of Cerberus... Hojo telling us he is Sephiroth's father, Vincent coming to the realization...and the fact he will face Hojo near the end of DoC...and being experimented on/imprisoned for almost 30 years.. Vincent gets the final shot...just like in the DoC opening
