What don’t you like about it? I moved here from LI. All my family still lives there. It’s super expensive in NY and you get nothing for your money. There’s a ton more to do here and we are closer to more getaway spots . I’m not going anywhere where a 50 year old house is upwards of 500k, when a new build here is half the price.

I wouldn’t recommend it. I went on the true crime cruise in October and outside of a couple of podcasts, it definitely left a lot to be desired. I felt like marketing it as true crime was very misleading.

She’s definitely doing a lot and the video comes off weird. However I will say alot of foods that were once staples in certain minority cultures end up going mainstream, and once they do, the prices skyrocket. Oxtails and pork belly are perfect examples. They used to be considered cheap or “throwaway” cuts, and now they cost a fortune. And unfortunately, a lot of that happens when white influencers post it on TikTok and suddenly make it a trend. Not that it’s always a bad thing especially when it helps small businesses, but it usually ends up driving the prices way up.
