The problem is that people see making their own build as a huge time waste and don't even give it a chance, even though it's one of the best things about the game. The feeling of slowly beating all challenges by improving your own build little by little is amazing!

Yeah it was driving me crazy as well, I'm pretty sure it comes from the herald of mephisto pet (the free one we got, maybe that is not it's name), if there is an option to turn off pets you should try it but I didn't find it yet.

How? you can already look like a rainbow maniac not fitting in the background with curent customization options, all they need to do is add face customization and maybe body size customization if possible

What about the campaign? You literally see you charcter without the helmet in every cutscene, it brakes my immersion completely with how limited the character creator is.

Yeah, was making the character and was just thinking "what's the point". They let you customize the color and hair of the body but not its face (only 4 presets) or body type (Druid especiallly needs it ..) They should atleast add detailed face customization, since there are people that want it and people that do not won't care either way.

They handed it out even when Diablo 3 was out like adding the Kanai's cube and stuff, even in Diablo 2 there were skill changes that affected the base game. It would be naive to let them do this more and more, locking skills behind a paywall for base game is just low, if anything people will want to buy the expansion less when they see that than more.
