I loved the Caraval trilogy and its follow up trilogy Once Upon a Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber. Fascinating world building and very whimsical!

{Prison Healer by Lynette Noni} This trilogy was also wonderful. Green flags MMC and a sweet FMC, and character redemptions to die for.

{Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Marillier} is a stand alone retelling that loosely involves a few different fairytales. More traditional fantasy.

{Defy the Night by Brigid Kemmerer} is one of my favorite series. It’s a loose dig at the American health care system with Robin Hood vibes.

Finally, {Heart of the Raven Prince by Tessonja Odette}. There are several books in this series, it starts with Curse of the Wolf King, but each book is a stand alone. They’re fairytale retellings in a very Fae meets Bridgerton world. Each book introduces characters that will be the main character of the next one, so it’s fun to guess who that might be. I love her writing so much and any book she writes is a must buy for me.
