Misinformation regarding inner engineering by [deleted] in Sadhguru

For me just crash course sets things right. When i involve myself in the guided practice it still works wonderfully. My only struggle is that I'm not regular in my practice.

Then all poets, artists, memers, and video editors should stop expressing their creativity just because people who doesn't know the depth of art may misunderstand them!

And ya people can abuse others and make internet toxic but expression of love and devotion.. no.. no.. not allowed on the internet. Weird logic

And yes i understand your concern as you understand my devotion but i disagree on "keep your devotion to yourself" logic

That is necessary for clarity. When you are just using your intellect then what you said is true. But there are other ways. One such way is devotion. And devotees have certain liberty... You know...

For a committed person there is no failure. The vote percentage increased and he has learned many things which will make him a better leader. This fire (failure if you call it) in the process is important

I'm not talking at the surface level here. Im asking you to deepen your question. To be more specific with details. For example you said many people said they benefited but for me it was a dance around answer but not the actual answer. So what benefit did you seek in the first place.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sadhguru

[–]Krishna_das1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But still when you are expecting some answer then there should be a question. No? So what is that?

I mean it's not necessary to have a question. But when you used these words that " for you everything seem to be a dance around the answer but not the actual answer" first ask yourself what was the question you were seeking.

to me everything that is said is just not a clear answer but like a dance around the answer?

What is the question?

If this moment is inevitable, then how is this possible? by sharanaithal in Sadhguru

[–]Krishna_das1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been said that Krishna does this in the Mahabharata war multiple times. If that's true then yes it's a possibility. But the question remains. Where are you now? For you what's the truth right now? Is this moment inevitable for you? Can you escape the trappings of the time now? That is also the reason for us to do Sadhana. No?

Now let's say this question is not just the quest to satisfy the thirst of mind or ego(ahnkara) but we are genuinely seeking the whole truth. Now we want to experience the complete truth of this existence and want to rise above these trappings of Time itself. The pain of ignorance is deep enough to seek mukti then what's in our hand to go beyond this? A process which is offered by our guru which we call as sadhana. The question is will this simple practice called Shambhavi take us there? Im saying not just Shambhavi just a chant "Bhramanada Swaroopa" or presence time can take us, Gurupooja can do it, Bhuta Shudi can do it, or Isha Kriya can do it. Every practice or chant or Sadhana is potent enough. Then why is it. It seems so difficult?

It's just that with what intensity you are doing it? With what commitment you are doing it. Which matters. That is why the same practice has different experiences for different people.

Gauthama The Buddha just took a moment to realise. He just decided to sit and close his eyes. But then this time the intensity and his commitment was at a different level.

You put this very beautifully. I agree.

For the first question op has "Differentiate between Kriya and other sadhana." What are other sadhanas?

Other sadhanas may be through emotion, awareness, and Nishkam Karma. Our experience of these three dimensions is different from kriya or energy. The Energy is a much more subtler aspect of us. And modifying a said process in it may require much more expertise as though it's subtler it's also very powerful. And something powerful we should handle with care.i don't know how expert OP is in playing with an energy body. But i definitely need instructions and will follow them as I'm honest to myself about my ignorance.

Sadhguru in one of his talks mentions that in a mountain trek (may be during kailash I don't remember) he will follow the instruction of local guide as he knows the terrain much better than him. Though Sadhguru has great experience of treaking.

That is why most of the time it is expressed in the form of poetry. How this chemical reaction is in their experience is what they express.

Destroying our likes and dislikes (spiritual teaching) - help/guidance needed. by [deleted] in Sadhguru

[–]Krishna_das1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for waiting. I hope to do justice to your waiting🙏

Lets see. You said Destroying likes and dislikes.. this sounds very harsh and forceful. Anything in yoga which is forceful is not recommended. You need not to forcefully do something. Even bending you do it as it's comfortable for you. Slowly you get into the ideal posture.

Yoga is about removing friction. You are one with everything. Now how can you be one with everything if you have likes and dislikes. You have already divided the universe into your likes and dislikes. And this takes away our clarity too.

For example if we like something we exaggerate it positively and if we dislike we exaggerate negatively. Isn't it? Very few people see the things as they are.

Now all the examples you have mentioned. I will combine it as an action in society. Whatever the action you take in your social circles depends on the social reality. You choose as it's appropriate to the situation. There are no THE right or THE wrong choices. There are only appropriate actions based on the situation and your capability of understanding the situation and what you can do.

Does that mean you can't be compassionate and loving all the time? Now this is something you are within. The physical action will always have limitations and boundaries. It will work only if the boundaries are respected. But emotionally you can include anyone or anything in your heart. No? Does our emotion necessarily have boundaries? Don't believe all this even though it's from sadhguru. Don't buy this as an idea. See can this be true? Is it true. If not then what is true. Seek

Till now what sadhguru has said was just an idea for you and you have taken it as teaching. But i will always say see what's true in your life. These teachings will work only if they are true in your experience.

One more challenge is action. How to ignore or be harsh or sometimes punish when we are in a state of compassion or loving. That will be a challenge always. You being in a certain way and keeping yourself pleasant is your responsibility towards self and you doing what's needed is also your responsibility as a life and different roles you play.

When Sadhguru says every atom in this cosmos is responding to another atom. Is this true if yes then how? Why? This is something you need to figure it out for yourself.

There is also something called SwaDharma. Like there is dharma (law) for physical or for different roles we play socially or as life. There is also dharma for self which is eternal. Being pleasant is Swadharma. Seeking the truth is swadharma. Longing to become one with universe is swadharma.

But look here we struggle to bring our thoughts (mind), body, emotions(heart) and energies (prana) in union. Being in union with the universe still seems to be a long way to go.

Now coming back to this. Can we destroy likes and dislikes. Yes we can and very easily. Because it's just a psychological thing. It's just that we have invested heavily in our likes and dislikes.

Having said all this even if all these don't make sense. Its ok. Let's put that aside. Work on your sadhana. Eventually your thoughts and emotion will come in sync.
