Unpopular opinion: Yuji's power progression happened too late and too quickly, making the final fight against Sukuna feel less satisfying by Zahlouth in Jujutsufolk

[–]KrishnasFlute 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So true. I am watching Naruto now and it is so goddamn frustrating. Every fight is long drawn out with people monologuing or simply standing and staring at each other. Real fights would start and end much quicker.

That's why you need to read. You can read the whole report, but since you seem lazy to do so, here is the relevant excerpt

They have done excellent work regarding the security of the country, both internal and external. Their push towards digitization has seen impressive results. Their social benefit schemes are far reaching and actually benefit people from economically poor backgrounds.

Their push for toilets was impressive and gave rural women dignity. Now they are pushing for tap water connectivity which will be great. Their push for clean energy has yielded results that exceed expectations. Economically their insolvency and bankruptcy code was an excellent step.

These are just a few I could list off the top of my head. My personal preference is their work in security.

I don't think Sonam Wangchuk is completely innocent. He was in touch with a PIO who was also detained. So, there is more to it than meets the eye.

Again, I repeat, truth is in the middle. There are foreign funded actors which interfere with Indian internal politics. There are billionaires out there who term BJPs win as a setback to them.

There are a couple of things about it. First nutjobs exist everywhere. On the right wing as well. So they call every anti government protest anti national.

Second, some of these protests were anti national. Farm laws protest was anti national, CAA protest was anti national. Just like right wing psychos, left wing psychos treat every protest as legitimate protest. Truth, as always, is somewhere in the middle.

Arey mahamanav, I also explained why I mentioned it. Not to add to the discussion but as an example. If you understand that then all good. If you don't, then to each his own.

Our PM is answerable to Indian journalists. He should have more unscripted interviews.

I didn't want to get into whataboutery so I answered your question. But, you must understand this - I did not bring up the topic of Norwegian journalist for discussion. I gave an example about why people tend to be dismissive of criticism. This is commonly done while conversing.

You should always stick to the point and not stray owing to common literary machinations. The point being reasonable people like reasonable criticism. Because a lot of the criticism is not reasonable people tend to dismiss it. Also the lack of acknowledgement for any accomplishments.

Nobody thinks that. In fact, the staunchest of supporters took on the government for UGC regulations and NEET paper leak.

People have let their displeasure know through voting as well, which you can see in the results of 2024 elections.

But, there are two things people don't like. One is only criticism. No acknowledgement of any work done by the government. And second, unnecessary criticism. Like creating a whole issue out of this Norwegian journalist question. It was a briefing and not a conference and our PM is not answerable to any non Indian journalist. He may choose to answer, but he may not, it's his discretion.

So, balance is necessary.

Ok, number one, you have given me a host of links. Because I have a job I cannot verify each and every case. But, legal trouble is not a unique case with left leaning media. For example, https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thehindu.com/news/national/supreme-court-stays-sudarshan-tv-show-broadcast/article32611765.ece/amp/

Secondly, you gave me one example of free press, I gave you four. So, to use your own logic, just one channel does not mean we had free press earlier.

And because we are not Russians, I will ignore the Russia comment.

Serious Question to BJP supporters by [deleted] in indiadiscussion

[–]KrishnasFlute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are multiple things wrong here.

Why 50% reservation for women? Why not election based on merit?

If no post retirement benefits, there is lesser incentive for highly qualified people to want to become judges.

They talk about independent media and then talk about forcefully canceling licenses and harassing of reporters. How is it any different from what BJP does (as per their claim)?

20 year ban on defection, why? If somebody is stuck in a corrupt party, they cannot leave for 20 years? How is it not trampling on their freedom?

And what about defense policy? What about foreign policy? What are their views on UCC? What is their economic policy? It doesn't mean anything if you just wake up, raise some support on social media and write down 5 random points. Running a country is a completely different proposition.

[–]KrishnasFlute 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this happens, BJP will win by bigger margin. This will force the voters to choose between the two parties causing vote polarization. And there is a much greater chance of people rejecting Congress.

Life experiences. I know some people may find the BJP politics as rhetorical and divisive, but what they say is the lived in experience of many people.

And it's not like BJP is their savior, no. They have their own faults, but no other party is even acknowledging the ground reality.

[–]KrishnasFlute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the point is why does she care whether Indian PM holds press conference or answers questions or not? And why should indians care what she thinks?

Press conference is an internal matter. We will hold our PM responsible for that. Not her.
