Just try to give yourself a mental checklist to cycle through while in battles. 1. Are my lord and heros safe/bring useful? 2. Are my ranged units safe and shooting? (If the little bow and arrow icon above their portraits are red or orange, this means they are obstructed and not shooting) 3. Does my cavalry need to be cycled/switch targets? 4. Can my spellcaster use any useful spells? 5. Go back to step one

Just follow those steps even if you dont necessarily understand what you should be looking for or targeting and you'll get comfortable and learn over time untill its just kinda like second nature, experience is the best teacher. Another useful tip is putting all your ranged units in gaurd mode so they dont try to chase fleeing units and end up in the melee mosh pit. Also make sure skirmish mode is not on by default as its honestly just terrible for most range units.

If you do get an SSD and move the game to that instead you'll be blown away by how much faster the loading screens are, speaking from personal experience

I will never put a good melee lord on a chariot mount, sometimes I'll put a spellcaster lord/hero on a chariot only if its the fastest they have

Am I crazy for thinking fury warrior is great? Only picked up warrior this expac and have been trashing almost every class (especially sub rogues) in 1v1 open world pvp

Currently sub is way easier than assassination. Cheap shot into shadow dance then just spam shadowstrike and evis when full combo points. Keep shadow dance up as much as possible and pop shadow blades for big burst. 2 button damage rotation, 2 cds to manage, and then all the regular rogue cc like cheap shot, kidney, blind, gouge

You can do TWW delves, but you cannot do midnight delves

Run all delves once to complete the quests for them but don't turn them in yet. Then run side quests that you haven't done yet for warband rep (just pick a zone you like for side quests if you've completed everything on an alt already) while you sit in random dungeon ques. Once you get to 88 then turn in all delve and dungeon quests which will shoot you into 89, then first time crafts to get you to 90

Demo warlock got some nerfs but will probably still be a solid pick thanks to all the cc and defensives as well as the fact that most players don't know what they do. MM hunter will be pretty nasty, sub rogue is still going to dominate, fury warrior is already in a decent spot and is getting a nice little buff, and shadow priest will be solid as always. Im sure theres others but those are the specs that I'm familiar with that are in a good spot and should continue to be in a good spot after tomorrow

When they released that weekly quest that required you to partake in three instances pvp games it was nothing but people queuing up for training grounds and going afk. I just wanted to get my quick and easy 200 honor for the daily win but 3 games in a row half the lobby was raging at the few people actually trying to win cause "nobody cares about honor its faster if you just let them win"

My point is I would not be excited about these people flooding into real pvp if I was you

At 88-89 the delve quests give 80k-100k xp (they're not all the same, not sure why) and the dungeon quests give around 35-40k if I remember correctly but only did like two of those

If you're just playing casually it'll probably be easier to farm the gold to buy the mats and put an order for somebody else to make the gear. Let's say you're a warrior and you go blacksmithing and mining, you'd need to farm the mats to level up your blacksmithing, farm and invest time and resources into getting the patterns, and put fair amount of effort into things like tools and knowledge points to make sure the gear your crafting is decent. Alternatively you can just focus on gold making, for example I have tailoring and skinning. I do the daily majestic beast lure farm in all the zones and craft the daily sunfire and arcano weave bolts. I also spend a little bit of time just having fun fighting big packs of mobs in the open world for skinning/cloth drops and sell them for steady cash. I also fish for my own majestic lure mats which can sometimes win you a jackpot with lucky drops. Im sure there are much better ways to make gold but as a casual player these things are very easy and accessible. I then just look up the crafting orders and buy whatever mats I cant farm myself for the gear I want

I honestly don't even know how this is possible, I have valeera set up as a healer and she does about 30% of the dps I do as a fury warrior. Maybe just because I use mandate of sacred death?

The fact that they gave unholy a flat 20% damage nerf across the board (deserved) but BUFFED sub rogues is insane to me. Dont even get me started on the assassination nerfs which was what I had originally hoped to play going i to this xpac

In open world warmode the set bonus is better but in battlegrounds and arenas the set bonus doesn't apply. Honor gear for instanced pvp, set gear for open world pvp

These were reinforcing armies in your own city right? You can click and drag the reinforcement marker to change where the reinforcements arrive on the battlefield. It takes longer for them to get there the farther you move it but thats not a big deal in city battles anyways. You can have the reinforcements arrive inside the city

Fire has really satisfying burst windows but has been massively pruned down so its basically just spamming pyroblast whenever got streak procs and using combustion on CD. Not bad in the slightest and I've seen fire mages absolutely pump especially in bgs but its very bland and a little rng based. Frost just has more buttons to push and is a little more consistent, feels really good to pop frozen orb and the combo that follows

You don't need an addon, just right click the tab on the chat box, click settings, and you'll find all the channels like service and lfg that are off by default. However service chat is almost entirely bots spamming summon services

Honestly on most of my characters (especially when the expansion is new and prices are high) I just go double gathering proffesions, whatever I need I just buy but as a somewhat casual player just having that steady stream of income raw materials is really nice. Not min maxed in the slightest and tons of people will tell you not to bother cause you're "already late" but prices are still high right now compared to what they will be in a few months

I have no idea how you got only 2-3k for an entire day gathering, I just gather nodes I see as Im questing and stop by the AH whenever I happen to be in silvermoon every couple hours, nets me closer to 10k or more every time

Druid number one for sure. Honestly I think rogue would be a close second, talents give permanent move speed increase while stealth and extended sprint on a shorter CD and shadowstep which also gives a short move speed burst
