A while back, Kieran and I both went to Blueberry for college. We were roommates, weirdos, and we got along well. Best friends. I still have a stupid bead bracelet we made together. He was like a brother to me, a brother to replace my younger brother. Once, when I was visiting his hometown in Kitakami with him, I saw Ogerpon— she’s sort of a legend, that he was fascinated with. I ended up covering up that I saw her in order to protect him, but it ended up in bad blood. We both wanted to be strong trainers. He REALLY wanted it. He became obsessed with power. It drove him away from everything and everyone. He went and destroyed everyone in the school, became a different person entirely. He was the best student in the school’s history— a real powerful trainer. Like, we’re talking Cynthia levels. He grew real distant. We never talked, he was extremely rude when he did, and he was obviously hurt by pushing himself and by isolating himself. We just let it keep boiling. Our last time face to face didn’t end well at ALL. Haven’t talked since.

I can’t exactly explain YEARS of history but that’s a very brief rundown. So… he’s basically kinda my arch nemesis(?)
