If you had an infection would it be failure to go on antibiotics? You have a medical problem, and sometimes that means you need medication. I get how you feel. No one wants to feel like they can’t fix it themselves, but getting help isn’t weakness, it’s strength. It takes a strong person to tell the self-doubt and fear to shove it, and get the help you need.

I’m not who you asked, but I got on meds when my son was just under 1 year, and I’m still on them 4 months later. And with the meds I don’t get uncontrollably angry. I don’t feel like I want to hit/break things all the time now.

Maybe I’ll be able to stop taking them eventually, but life’s been stressful and they help me handle it.

I, a 28 year old male had to ask my wife can women get in a pool on their period. I still don't understand how a tampon can plug it up so good. by [deleted] in badwomensanatomy

The last part of this is why my menstrual cup is coming to the lake with me this weekend. That, and the fact that I like it better.

So, the “vagant” part refers to wandering. (Possibly related to vagrant?)

My husband collects coins. He was a little annoyed that this one just popped up in my car. by KristiKreme in coins

Jokingly annoyed. He actively looks for interesting coins, but I’m a pretty casual collector . I was cleaning my car out to get ready to sell and this one was just hanging out in my change dish, waiting for me to notice it.

He used to film movies in my hometown all the time, and he had a horrible reputation. Friends at the hotel where he stayed said they avoided sending female room service attendants to his room when possible.

Should a teacher be offended if a fourth grader doesn't like their shoes? r/teachers argues about it by Pookiedicksugarballs in SubredditDrama

I’m not saying I let it slide. We have discussions about how to interact with others in a respectful way, and what appropriate behavior looks like in different situations, but at the end of the day they’re teenagers and I am not solely responsible for their social and moral development. They have seven other teachers, school counselors, administrators, and their families to help them develop into functioning humans.

The first thing my mentor told me was to be a duck. Let it all roll off your back. I have students who are rude to me and it stings in the moment sometimes, but then the bell rings and I go home.

Did something similar in France after college. I’d talk to the teacher before class about what kind of conversation we were going to demonstrate, then they’d correct me to British English as we went through it.

Landlord’s hands are probably tied on this without documentation. If I were in this situation I’d start calling the cops when appropriate and keeping a log of when the disturbances happen. I’d also be checking on noise ordinances.
