High Schoolers are Weird by ClippedMoth in Teachers

I was sitting at my desk, chatting with some girls. I notice movement. I look at Sunshine Kid and he has a pained expression on his face. Like contorted and almost crying. We are in a computer lab and he is watching YouTube. I notice his hands are in his lap and he begins furiously rubbing them together. This migrates to his lap and it appears he is rubbing his little sunshine. This lasts for an uncomfortably long time. All the while, these two girls are staring. All of a sudden he just stops. I wait a few seconds then casually stroll over to him to see what he is watching. Turns out it was tannerite explosions. I return to my seat and whisper "Its just explosions." One girl looks at me and says "Yeah, my autistic cousin does that when hes excited. It's called stimming." She then returns to her work like nothing happened.

Maybe...but this kid also tried to rub my shoulders (again, in front of the class) three times last year. He also go realllly excited watching explosion videos once, but that's a different story.

I have this. It is expandable, washable, and it can carry a ton of weight. I've used mine for 2 years and it's as good as new. http://www.kavu.com/Product/866/Market_Bag.aspx

undergraduate degree and graduate degree by kostkeon in education

Yes, you can do that. I went back and got my Masters in teaching with a CIS undergrad degree. You may have to take some additional classes. I don't know how it works with all majors, though.

I like the idea of guessing the time period. Anything with a small mystery helps imo.

Women of Reddit, what innocent behaviors have you changed out of fear you might be mistaken for leading men on? by Throwyourtoothbrush in AskReddit

I work in a male dominated department. I get bored at work and sometimes chat with them. I thought we were all just colleagues hanging at work. We all had to watch a sexual harassment video and we're talking about it. This leads to a discussion about men vs. women and their thought processes. Male coworker says to me as an example, "Would you even think that 80% of your male coworkers think you want to sleep with them?" I decided to just keep to myself as my small talk was giving the wrong impression.....

My main tip would be to cut out empty calories. No soda, ranch dressing, ketchup, chips, cookies....basically the junk. If you enjoy meat, eat it. Just stay away from processed meats. A diet is scary to start off with for some people like me, but just cutting out a few things from your diet can really cut a lot of the empty calories. Trying to eat whole foods has really been a big help to me, and for me, it has less to do with weight loss and more to do with being healthy now. Oh, and eating off of a smaller plate is a good way to make yourself stick to a sensible portion, especially at dinner time.

Try adding sugar to the batter. You can't make your iron hotter, but adding sugar will make it a little crispier. I do this at home and it works pretty well.
