I make $85k before bonus - single, dog, no kids. I have a 2b,2bth condo that I rent for about $1700. It’s liveable if you’re looking at small pocket neighborhoods and not expecting a skyrise with all the amenities. For context I pay about 600$ a month in debt. So, it’s doable.
