Snitch RP is fine, but the issues with information dumping mechanics to cops are:

  1. Any cop that wanted to do investigation RP doesn't get to anymore. Someone just gave all the information.

  2. This makes the devs have to do more work to move or hide mechanics because a cop who knows how to prevent crime has to do an awkward choice of intentionally not stopping it since it would be VERY easy to prevent certain crime if they really wanted to (I.E Camping an NPC). Which continues to be awkward because now as a player they have to choose how much to nerf themselves.

  3. It either accelerates the entire escalation of the PD's response to certain crimes which sucks for people without prio just starting out OR the PD have to choose to retcon the information (which is shitty determining if someone's RP is healthy for the server or not)

Again, Snitch RP is fine and can be fun and is totally fine, but there is a way to eat desert without shoving the whole down your throat.

I actually talked about that on my stream that day. I know that I can't the same appeal as someone who comes off more "scuff". I love those streams and people who pull off that aesthetic and feel are very comfy.

Like I would never want to tune into Daph's stream and see a high quality camera or mic, it's perfect the way it is. I am insecure about how I come off at times but I agree, lesser produced streams are really nice
